MEET DEATH HERSELF [PART 42]

3rd POV

They all watch with anticipation as All Might walks through the dust with a frown, he drops his jacket off, "I had a bad feeling, so I tore myself from my chat with the principle and came. I passed Young Iida on my way and got a rough idea of what had happened." He explained as he stared at the villains, students were crying of relief. Reaper smiles as she looked at All Might with amusement.

She felt a chill run down her spine and she sighed shakily, her eyes light up even more as the tension rose quickly. But before she could attack, a purple mist wrapped itself around her body. She struggles and tried to escape but in the end, the mist pulled her away from the awaiting scene. She noticed how the mist was pulling her towards Shigaraki and she growled lowly, clearly disliking of where she was heading.

All Might jumped off the stairs and knocked out the remaining thugs, quickly grabbing Aizawa, Asui, and Mineta. He then grabbed Izuku while sending an unpredicted hit at Shigaraki's stomach. They distanced themselves and All Might set them down safely, he then noticed Reapers' captured body as she hangs her head low, he could see she was struggling as she was heavily panting. 

She lifts her head and sends him a chilling smirk, clearly telling him that she's fine. She laid limp in Kurogiri's hold, her hair covered her face as her body gave out. Shigaraki was busy picking up his 'Father' and places it on his face once again, whispering to himself, "It's no good... It's no good... It's no good... I'm sorry, Father... He hit as he was saving them. Its the violence of a governmental official. He's fast, as expected. I can't follow him with my eyes."

He looked at him with a horrifying smirk and eyes, "But not as fast as I thought he'd be. I guess its true, after all... that he's getting weaker." Izuku looks worriedly at All Might, "All Might, you cant. That villain took One Fo--" He cuts himself off when he releases that Asui and Mineta listened, he corrected his wording, "He took a punch that didn't break my arm, but he didn't even twitch. He's gotta be--"

All Might lift his hand, cutting him off, "Young Midoriya!" All Might turns to him with his famous smile, "It's fine." And with that Midoriya and the others head towards the stairs safely, Shigaraki and All Might turn towards each other. All Might speeds towards him while roaring, "Carolina..." Shigaraki says calmly, "Nomu." Immediately, the creature stands in front of him, protecting him from the incoming blow. 

"...Smash!" All Might ended as uncrossed the 'X' in his arms, slicing through Nomu who wasn't even affected. The wind pressure erupts from behind Nomu and it screeches as it tries to reach for All Might. He ducks and sends multiple punches towards the creature as he quickly distances himself from it once again, yet he was shocked to see the creature unharmed. 

He hears chuckling and watched as Reaper escaped the mists, her eyes were locked onto the creature. Shigaraki attempts to stop her but was slammed into the ground when she grabbed his neck. His body was limp and she licks her lips, clearly enjoying the battle. She looks a the creature which was running towards All Might, she flies and brings down her scythe. The blade satisfyingly cuts through the creature as if its flesh was a block of soft butter. 

Blood storms out of his body and giggles as she shakes her head slightly, no one spoke, clearly surprised by how she did that so easily. But the battle didn't end, the creature regenerated quickly and she whistles, "Now this something I was looking for." She says as a gigantic magic circle appears on her fingertips once again. She tilts her head at All Might and he jumps out of the way as the scorching flames burn the creature to death, its roars and screeches were haunting noises to everyone. 

Yet she was laughing, her eyes narrow in amusement and killing intent. The flames grow even bigger and hotter, burning everything in its way. She was stopped when two arms wrapped themselves around her waist and she was tackled to the ground, she gasped in pain as her back made contact with the surface. She glares at the person who dared to pin her to the ground, Shigaraki glared back at her and grabbed her throat.

She felt the oxygen being cut off from her lungs and started to struggle, clawing his wrists and kicking his legs. Soon, her body was about to give in but the sweet oxygen entered her lungs when Shigaraki was thrown off of her. She grasps her throat and tears started pricking her eyes as she rolled onto her side, trying to calm her burning lungs with each breath she takes. Her wings cover her body, securing her from any danger.

 Todoroki stands over her body protectively as he protects her vulnerable state, Bakugo had his hand on Kurogiri's metal collar, threatening to blow him up any second. Everyone had a close eye on Shigaraki who got up from the ground slowly, he glares at Tododroki before directing his glare to Reaper. He clicks his tongue and looked at All Might, clearly dissatisfied. 

Reaper quickly staggered to her feet and grabbed Todoroki's shoulder for support, she lets her hand fall limp to her side and her frown turned into a wide smile, "I never thought you had the fucking guts to do that, Shigaraki. You're full of surprises at this point, " She looked at him over her shoulder. "I quite like this side--" Her words were cut off when she saw him clench his hand tightly.

She stayed quiet and slowly, her appearance turned into her normal self. The devilish features disappeared without a trace, her wings and weapon disappeared as well. Her outfit was slightly hanging on her body, some of the parts were ripped while other pieces of fabric were missing. Her dress was luckily covering her private parts but was noticeable. She looked away with a guilty look but tears started dripping from her eyes as she takes in his appearance.

She fell to her knees and continued to stare at him, the tears fell to the ground in slow motion. her voice came off meekly and scared, "Tenko Shimura? Is that you?" He froze and felt anger course through his body, he stepped forward threateningly. The others were ready to attack if necessary, yet Reaper got off her knees and was about to run towards him but Todoroki wrapped his arms around her waist.

She crawled his arms, desperate to escape from his stronghold. He felt his heart clench as he watches the woman in his arms turn into an unstable one. One who got broken long ago and she realized she found her missing piece to her puzzle. She stopped and cried out, "Please...! Are you him?! Are you, my son, who was taking so long ago?!" He looked at her as if she was a piece of garbage, he ignored her completely. 

No one could understand what was happening until Izuku connected the dots. His eyes grew to widen but he decided to stay silent. He glances at Reaper and he felt his heartstrings snap when he saw her state, blank eyes that had no shine in them and her body full of bruises and injuries. Shigaraki didn't speak, he held his hands in front of him. She could feel his eyes bore into her form, taking in all her features.

She felt a piece of her heartbreak off when she didn't get a response from him. She felt numb to the touch and everything around her, just like how she was when she lost Isao. And on that day, she was reborn into something heartless and cruel. Today, it's the same as that day, she turned into; 

'DEATH, 

THE ONLY THING THAT COULD RUIN A PERSON'S LIFE'
