GOOD AND BAD [PART 76]

||3RD POV||

She was behind Todoroki who was still attacking Stain along with Midoriya, her eyes look down at Iida and noticed the flowing tears. She bends down and soothingly rubs his hair as she reassures, "Just let it out and it seems that you finally came back to your senses, Iida. That's good, really good." Her fingers leave his hair and she looks back at the fight in front of her, her eyes went to Midoriya who was leaning against the wall, holding his injured leg.

Quickly, she appeared in front of him and places her hand over his injures. He watches with painful eyes while hers were glowing a dark red and a thin sheet of light appeared on his injuries. Soon enough, the injuries healed and she felt a bit drained but kept a smile on her face as she stood up with him. Her voice cuts through him like a knife as he heard it, "Keep him busy for a while, I need to save up some energy during that time."

He glanced at her and notices how her body was a bit sluggish, she leans against the wall while looking at him with tired eyes. Her appearance turned to her normal self and she sinks the floor, her hand sluggishly motions him to go away. He didn't and stayed by her side as he watched how Todoroki tried to handle Stain but he was about to hit the teen with his blades. Out of nowhere, she was in front of Todoroki, ready to take another blow again.

Just when the blade was about to touch her, Iida snapped the blade with his leg as he brought it down. He lands on his feet for a split second and sends another hit with his turbos at Stain who blocked it but was sent back with full speed. She looks at Iida with a tired smile as she leaned against Todoroki, "You got free, huh? About time, we needed you." Her voice was slow and a bit sluggish catching everyone's attention, Iida looks at her with blank eyes.

His voice caused her body to boil out of anger but she gave him a frown as he spoke, "Midoriya, Todoroki, Aya, this has nothing to do with you three, and I apologize." Midoriya spat out, "You're saying that again?" Iida answered as he raised his head and his eyes were empty, "That's why I can't allow you three to bleed more than this!" In the corner of her eye, she saw the end of the blade hit the floor and her eyes trail towards Stain.

His voice came out stern as he glared at them while holding the broken sword in his palm, "Its no use trying to be reformed for appearance's sake. A person's essence does not change so easily. You will never be anything but a fake who prioritizes his own selfish desires." His eyes flickered to her tired body before glaring back at the teens, "You are a cancer to society that wraps the idea of 'heroes.' Someone must set you straight."

Todoroki responded sharply, "You're an anachronistic fundamentalist. Iida, don't listen to the logic of a murderer." They were caught off guard at Iida's answer, "No, he's right. I have no right to call myself a hero..." Blood from his shoulder injury dripped down to his clenched fists as he continued, "Even so, I cannot give in. If I give in, then Ingenium will die." Stain snapped with bloodlust, "Out of the question." He rushes towards them and Todoroki quickly steps forward with her in his hands, he sends another wave of fire towards Stain.

Native yelled as he looked up at them, "Idiot! The Hero Killer is after me and the kid in the white armor, right? Don't fight back. I'd be better if you run away!" She felt something snap inside of her as she glared over Todoroki's shoulder with glowing eyes at Native and spat out with a venomous tone, "Don't decide what they do when you, who is fucking paralyzed, can't do anything in this situation!" Todoroki commented very quickly, "It doesn't look like he'll give me an opening to do that. Something clearly changed just now. He's flustered."

Out of nowhere, a gun fired. She was holding a handgun at Stain but the bullet grazed his cheek causing her to curse under her breath and stepped out of the way when Todoroki sends a wave of ice towards him. She was trying to snipe him as he jumped through the air but she just misses an inch every time. A chain appeared from her hands and she swings it towards him like a whip, he jumps back as she continued that motion.
