Shaking like a leaf, you could hear your heart pounding in your ears. Out of everyone in the crowd he chose you, which was an honor given how much you were interested in him but also your worst nightmare. A crowd of people watching your every move was not something that you found enjoyable.

Jervis began speaking to you. His voice was sweet like honey. The whole world seemed to stop, and in that moment it was just you and him. "What's your name my sweet little dove?" When he finished speaking he gently grabbed your hand and kissed it. A light blush graced your cheeks. ("Y/N") you said with a small smile. You could not believe that this was actually happening. This man is an absolute dream. ("Y/N") he repeated, "how stunning.'' He then said "will you join me on stage? It would make my night, a marvelous woman like you should not go unnoticed." This is it. You were about to face your biggest fear, how could you say no to him? "It would be an honor" you said gracefully. He smiled and took your hand, leading you towards the stage.

You were now standing on the stage faced with at least 100 people. The bright spotlights were blinding you. Unexpectedly, Jervis pulled you close and whispered in your ear. "Are you alright my love? You look awfully faint, do you need some water?'' You turned your face towards him and said "You are so sweet. I am okay, I do not want to miss my big debut!" You and Jervis looked at each other and let out a laugh. There was really a connection between you two.

"Alright!" He faced the audience. "Ladies and gentlemen let's get this show on the road!" You turned to face him. He began to speak. You adored his voice so much. "My dear, listen to my watch." Oh no. You could feel yourself getting more and more lightheaded. Why did this have to happen? A panic attack was about to happen in front of everyone, including Jervis. Jervis could tell that something was wrong. He could easily read the look of terror on your face. However, he kept going. He did not want to embarrass you. "The way its ticking synchronizes with your heartbeat." His words were becoming echos at this point. You knew what was coming. "Look into my eyes, not above them, not around them, but deep into their center." Panic hit you like a truck. You grabbed your chest and ran off of the stage into the bathroom at the back of the club. Ashamed of yourself, you slammed the stall door and cried for what seemed like hours.
