Hello everyone! I wanted to share something special that happened to me today.
My grandmother passed away a few months ago. Her and I had a very close knit relationship, so her death is something that has continued to weigh heavily on me.
Today, my grandfather showed me her jewelry and told me that if I saw something that I liked, I could hold onto it. As I was looking through everything, something caught my eye. A rose pendent. Now, if you have read this story, you'll know that I talk about a ring with a rose on it. I realized that the letter that I had written in that chapter is something that my grandmother would want me to remember. I know that may sound silly to some of you, but I think that whole coincidence is incredible.
I also wanted to take some time to thank every single one of you who have taken the time to read, vote, and comment on this book. This story is something that means a lot to me. It's something that has gotten me through times of sadness, hardship, and great anxiety. The fact that you guys enjoy this story keeps me motivated and allows my passion for writing to continue to grow.
Also, this story has been nominated for the wattys! I am so grateful for that opportunity. Even if my book doesn't win or get recognized, the fact that it was even a part of something like that is so surreal.
