It's Complicated, Okay?

AMELIAS POV
Owen and I were watching TV and it was really late. We spent the whole night just talking, which was so incredibly nice. I looked over at him and he was so cute. I moved over and nuzzled into his chest. I felt his arm go around me and I smiled. I put my arm over his chest and I loved being so close to him. I felt him kiss my head and I closed my eyes.

I opened my eyes and rolled over and Owen was gone. I frowned and reached for my phone. I saw I had a message from Owen, which read, "Hey come downstairs when you're awake". I smiled and got up, fixed my hair, and walked downstairs. I could smell breakfast cooking in the kitchen. When I walked into the kitchen Owen was cutely making breakfast. I smiled as he turned around.
"Good morning," he smiled.
"Good morning," I said and walked over to him and pecked his lips. He brought the food to the table and I smiled.
"Wow cooking something I can't do," I chuckled.
"That's what I'm here for," he chuckled and sat down next to me.
"You're cute," I smiled and kissed him again.
"Are you working tonight?" He asked.
"Nope," I smiled, "Are you?"
"No," he said.
"Wanna go out tonight?" I asked.
"Yes," he smiled.
"Sorry we didn't last night," I said.
"You don't need to apologize," he said, "we still got to spend time together."
"Yeah," I smiled, thinking of last night. I absolutely love Owen's company, I really do. He's the best person to talk to, and he's the sweetest. We ate breakfast together which was really nice.

I had to go home and change before going into work. I walked into work and I didn't have my first surgery for another half an hour, and I was scrubbing in in 20 minutes. I passed the cafeteria and saw Meredith and Maggie talking. I pulled up a chair and they smiled.
"Hey!" Maggie smiled.
"Hi," I smiled.
"Hey we wanna have a girls night, the three of us, tonight?" Meredith said.
"Oh I can't I have plans," I said.
"Plans?" Maggie joked.
"Yes I do have a life every once in a while," I chuckled. They both chuckled.
"Plans with Owen?" Meredith teased.
"Maybe," I chuckled.
"Ooh!" Maggie smiled.
"Did you sleep at his place last night?" Meredith asked.
"So nosey Meredith," I joked, "but yes."
"Oooh," Maggie laughed.

I was getting ready for my date with Owen and I was stressed out. I really didn't know what to wear and I just wanted everything to go right because I liked him so much. I was looking through my closet and decided on a cute short black dress. I got dressed and did my makeup and there was a knock at my door.
"Who is it?" I said.
"Me," Meredith said.
"Come in," I said. She opened the door and she smiled.
"Aw look at you you look so cute!" She smiled.
"Thanks," I chuckled.
"Are you nervous?" She asked.
"Yeah," I chuckled.
"Don't be," She said, "you have nothing to worry about."
"What if something goes wrong?" I said, "what if he doesn't like me? Why if I mess it up?"
"Amelia honey you're not going to mess this up, and you do not have to worry about him not liking you, because I promise you he does," she smiled, "that boy has liked you ever since you moved here."
"Really?" I blushed.
"Oh yeah," Meredith chuckled, "he really likes you Amelia." I couldn't help but contain my smile and I hugged her. We heard the doorbell ring downstairs and she smiled.
"Go get him," she smiled. I ran down the stairs and opened the door to Owen, who was dressed cutely.
"Hi," I smiled.
"Hi," he smiled back. He grabbed my hand and we walked out to his car. We got to his car and he opened the door for me and I smiled.
"What a gentlemen," I joked. He chuckled which was cute and went around to his side. I sat down and smiled as Owen did the same. I was insanely nervous, but as we started driving, I realized I was nervous for nothing.
