It's Complicated, Okay?

AMELIAS POV
Today we could take Madison home! I was so excited. Owen was packing up our stuff in the room and I had madison in my arms. She was so tiny and precious. I kissed her head and Owen grabbed our bag.
"We ready?" He asked.
"We're ready," I smiled. I held Madison close as we walked down to the lobby and into our car. I place madison in her car seat and buckled her in. Owen drove home and when we got home I took Madison out of her car seat. Owen smiled and kissed my head.
"She's perfect," I smiled.
"She is," Owen said, "just like her mom."
"And her dad," I said cutely. He smiled and kissed me softly. We walked inside and Madison was starting to fall asleep. I walked upstairs and placed her in the crib we had assembled in our room. I turned on the baby monitors and left our door open. I walked down the hall to the nursery we decorated and it was so cute. Owen painted it pink and we had a bunch of baby stuff. It was so cute. I heard the door open and I turned around and it was Owen.
"Hey," I smiled.
"Hey," he said. He wrapped my arms around my waist and I leaned into him.
"I'm so happy," I giggled.
"Me too," He said. We heard Madison cry and we both walked into our room. Owen picked her up and cradled her, she was adorable. She stopped cry and held onto Owen. She was so cute. He went to put her down and she started crying again so Owen sat down and held her. I sat down next to him and watched her. I was in such awe of my daughter. I leaned into Owen and watched her peacefully fall asleep.

I was woken up from my sleep by madison crying. I sat up and Owen groaned next to me. This was the 3rd time she's cried this night. I got up and picked her up and held her. Owen came up behind me and hugged me. We were both so tired from all the crying. I held her close and cradled her and kissed her cheek.
"Hey babygirl," I said softly. She eventually stopped crying and Owen and I crawled back into bed.
"It's going to be a long night," Owen said as he pulled me into him.
"Mhm," I mumbled and wrapped my arms around his waist, and laid my head on his chest.
"I love you mia," he said softly.
"I love you too," I said.
"Goodnight," he said.
"Goodnight," I said as he kissed my cheek. I nuzzled into him and he cuddled me until we both fell asleep, and thankfully Madison didn't cry the rest of the night.
