When I wake up, I find myself in his arms still.
"Morning," he whispers.
"Morning," I reply, my voice croaky and hoarse.
"Hungry?"
"Heck yeah..." he laughs.
"That's my babe," he leans over my and kisses me lightly.
"Are you thirsty?" I ask.
"Kinda..." he looks away from me to the picture of us on his wall. I sit up, causing him to move off me. I gesture to my neck.
"Drink," I tell him, brushing my loose hair away from my neck. His eyes fills with surprised and he starts to shake his head vigorously.
"No, no, no! You know I can never do that to you!" I take a sharp breath in. I'm going to tell him about Harry.
"You know that guy that nearly killed you...?"
"What's that got to do with anything?"
"Just listen. He turned me into a vampire and made me be his mate, we went to Italy to ask if I could carry his child and the vampires there turned me back into a human and then Harry drank from me once and I was able to take it, but that doesn't matter anymore."
"W-w-what?"
"I thought you were dead. I mourned for you, babe. I needed you. I only pretended to like Harry," that was a lie. I liked him, but then I also like Harri. Harri never cheated on me.
"You know what?" his eyes turn black.
"I'm sorry Harri, please don't hurt me..." my voice trembles with my body, sweat begins to form in the palms of my hands, my heart rate increases rapidly.
"Babe," his eyes turn back to normal. "I'm just kidding. It's a trick I taught myself," he pokes me lightly on my knee. "I'm sorry." He opens his arms and I happily go into them. Of course, I should've known. He's always going to tease me, whether I like it or not.
"But seriously though, please drink from me, I insist."
"Are you sure?"
"Of course I frickin am!"
"Okay... tell me if you begin to feel faint," he squeezes me arms reassuringly as I pull back. He opens his legs and pats inbetween them. I sit and turn so my back is on his front. A familiar position for the both of us, this was how we used to watch movies together. He gently brushes a few strands of hair away from my face, kisses the skin lightly and whispers "I love you El," he kisses the exposed skin again and then he starts to drink.
It isn't as painful as the first few times, but Harri is drinking quicker than Harry. Shortly after, I start to see stars dotting the outside of my eyeline, my limbs become weak and my heart beat slows.
"Harri..." I manage to breathe out the words and he immeditaly retracts and hugs me.
"I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry," he says quickly.
"Babe," I stop for a second, catching my breath, "bae, it's fine. Just, next time, drink slower," I say jokingly.
"Okay. Are you okay?" He squeezes me tightly.
"Yeah, just," I make a swishing motion with my hand, "slightly faint."
"Okay... You know what? You need to get your sugar levels up."
"Yeah, I do..."
"And do you know what that means?" I shake my head slowly, "CHOCOLATE!"
"AHHH! Can I have some cookies and biscuits too?"
