Late Night Visitors

"Nice for you to show up." I see five men, all in black cloaks, eyes red.

"Good to see you again, John, Charlie, Alex, Mark, and Dalton."

'Are these the Elders?'

'They are going to be, the Elders are training them to become an Elder.'

'Thanks for the heads up.'

'No problem.' I move slightly closer to Harry.

"Been out hunting?" I think John asks.

"Yes, John," Harry replies, answering my question in the statement, "we had humans and animals."

"I heard the commotion with the wolves when we came down here, we knew you had it."

"I will take that as a compliment."

"Yes, do. Now, one of your mates killed a wolf, make sure not to do so again." He says, eyes on El, she cowers behind Louis.

"Right, we need any found powers for the Eld Book."

"Eleanor. Power is to make objects disappear and reappear." Louis explains.

"Demonstrate"

'That's Charlie.' Harry explains to me. Eleanor places a pen on the floor and makes it disappear and reappear. Charlie writes it down.

"Next." He demands. Zayn speaks up.

"Perrie. Power is to find lost and/or hidden objects."

"Find the Mona Lisa." I knew they were moving it somewhere to get checked up on, but no one knows where.

"Greece." Perrie answers confidently. Charlie writes that down.

"Next."

"Taylor. Power is to paralyse. Long and short term." Niall adds.

"Demonstrate." Taylor looks nervous. Niall steps forward. Taylor is trying to control it with all her mind. Niall suddenly goes stiff and falls. Taylor stops and rushes to his side.

'Niall, fight against it.' I tell him. In no time at all, he jumps up and hugs Taylor, they walk back to their spots.

"Next."

"Danielle. She can run faster than any vampire I have seen."

"Demonstrate." Charlie looks curious. They do the same as they did this morning.

"Interesting. Next." Harry tenses beside me.

'Tell the truth.'

"Elizabeth. Powers are..."

"Did you say powers?"

"Yes, she has more than one."

"Just like you Styles."

"Powers are to create water, send a message via her mind and..."

"And what?"

"She is a class 3 shield." All the soon-to-be Elders look more intrigued.

"Demonstrate." I walk  forward, Harry releasing his grip reluctantly. I think of a glass of water. The last time I thought of an ocean, and that went wrong. I open my eyes to find water floating above my hand, a manageable amount. Harry sets a small piece of the carpet on fire, I instinctively put the fire out.

"Next power."

'Hello' I think, I look at Charlie.

"Hello" he replies. He scribbles something down.
