As you walk up the steps leading to the white, dormant church you wonder if he will even be here or will he disappoint you again. You take both Ava and Aidens hands and walk into the silent church, sighing as Ashton is not here.
"He's not here." You cough and turn around only to be faced with someone you hoped never to see again.
"(Y/N)!" Ashton shouts, his eyes growing.
"Ashton." You nod and take a few steps back.
"Why did you call? It's been 18 years is everything okay?!" He grabs you by the shoulders and you flinch, "I'm not going to hurt you."
"Yeah right, I've heard those words before."
"(Y/N) please can we not do this it's been 18 years." He sighs and rubs his head, "why did you want to meet me here?"
"Ava, Aiden. This is your father." you sigh and walk to the front row of pews, stroking the smooth mahogany and taking a seat.
"Wait what?" Ashton shouts. "They can't be mine!"
"When you left me on our wedding day, you left me to become a single parent. I planned on telling you at the end of the ceremony but obviously you had other plans."
"(Y/N) why didn't you tell me sooner?" Ashton walks up to you and you see the tears in his eyes.
"I didn't tell you because I knew you would run out on them like you did with me. You hate being tied down so why would you stick around long enough to even know their names."
"(Y/N) I-I."
"Whatever. They want to talk to you not me." You mutter and walk out of the church but not before shouting to the kids that you'll be in the car. Ava joined you soon after.
"How come you didn't talk longer with him?" You stroke her hair.
"He left you. He doesn't deserve my forgiveness."She grinned largely at you.
"I wonder what your brothers doing."
