"Alright," Jackie said, placing her phone in front of her as she put on a light layer of make-up. "Tell me then."

Edward smiled on the phone screen, and the instant he did, Jackie did the same. It was like a reaction she couldn't quite help, because seeing him happy instantly made her happy as well. There must be something about the authenticity that settled someplace between his pupil and iris, or the gentle way his lips would let a giggle pass them before they did the explaining.

"Not much to tell, really." His voice was low, as if he was trying to hide behind the volume in which he spoke.

"Well, there obviously is." She looked down at him for a brief second, giving him a disappointed glance, before looking back at the reflection of herself in her mirror. "Wouldn't be talking to me if there wasn't."

"I can't talk to my sister just because I want to now?" Edward chuckled as he laid his hands on his hoodie-clad chest, clearly enjoying watching Jackie beg him for information.

"You know what I mean, Eddie. Spill, please." She said, not even bother giving him a small look this time around as he was getting on her nerves.

Ed sighed, rolling over to his laptop on his desk before propping his phone up against his stack of books so Jackie could see him. Opening his computer, he clicked away a little before he cleared his throat. It sounded like he was little nervous to tell her, like her opinion on this meant more to him than he'd let her know. It often did, as everyone most value the opinion of the people they care most about. For the Picot siblings, that would be each other. There was no one Jackie care more about than her brother and visa versa, so she understood him taking his time to utter the words he was about to say. She put the cap back on her mascara and looked down at Edward.

"So, I only applied to History and different Fine Art programs." She nodded along, showing him that she was paying attention to every word he was saying. "University of Manchester, Goldsmiths University of London, University of Leeds, University of Southampton, University of Reading." Edward explained, looking back at his older sister on his phone to see her reaction.
