SWAN LAKE.

It was done. It was finally done. Jackie's Solo Project, her Final and Independent Piece, was finally recorded and wrapped, and it sounded absolutely amazing. She had worked on if for so long now, for months and for hours on end every single day, and both the written and the recorded part, were both done now. Looking at the mp4 file on her laptop, Jackie felt immensely proud. She had made that piece all by herself, it was all hers. Well, Finn had helped with the piano bit, but other than that, it was completely hers.
When the two of them listened back to each their piece that the other one had helped out with, neither could help their excitement. All their three years of university had led to this moment, hearing the final result of their Solo Projects. Both were over the moon afterwards, hugging and high fiving each other constantly while they replayed both of them, both proud of themselves and their mate.
Happy with their pieces, they decided to treat themselves to a coffee at Costa and a little stroll through Battersea Park, the park behind campus. They popped by the one across the road from the uni, and then walked through campus to get to the park. Battersea Park was always bustling with life, which made it all the more entertaining and idyllic to walk through. It was a patch of greenery in one of the world's biggest cities; a garden that brought people together and that gave a nice break from the constant traffic and city living all around them. They strolled by Pump House Gallery, in silence making their way down Boating Lake, waling over the small bridge to get to Ladies Pond. From the lack of words leaving Finn's mouth, it was like he would never stop talking when he was happy or excited about something – or in whichever mood he was in, to be honest -, it made Jackie uneasy. Surely there was something on his mind if he was this quiet. However, Jackie knew Finn would never press for information had she been acting distant, so she kept her mouth shut. Which proved to be the right thing to do.
"Jack," he started, looking right ahead instead of at her. The sun was beaming down through the trees that ruffled lightly about them in a tiny breeze, small birds singing in the green branches. "We haven't really talked about what happened at that Sand's End party in February."
