"Yep, you're pregnant. Looks like you're about five weeks along."
Kakashi held his wife's hand at the hospital, still in his Hokage robes. Tsunade was finishing her exam with Mizuka.
"I would have never imagined you coming in here for this, Z."
"Yeah, this was unexpected. I think we got a little too sloppy celebrating Kakashi becoming the sixth Hokage."
Kakashi could feel his face burning with embarrassment under his mask. Tsunade smiled.
"Congratulations, you two. You have an early spring due date. April 10th."
They bid Lady Tsunade farewell and left hand in hand. This was happening.
"Oh my gosh. A spring baby..."
Kakashi stopped, stopping Mizuka as well.
"What is it?"
He fell to his knees in front of her, his Hokage robes fanning out around him. He sat on his feet and pulled her close, kissing her tummy tenderly.
"We're all in, now. Get big and strong so we can meet you, Baby Hatake."
From the corner of his eye, he could see his wife put a hand over her mouth, stifling tears. Villagers stopped to watch or clap. It was public now, and if this was happening, he needed the entire village there to help them.
