"Mizuka, you know damn well you need to stop healing. Why in the hell are you taking it out on Kakashi?"
Mizuka was crying bitterly in her hospital bed.
"How dare he pull that Hokage's orders shit on me. That's bullshit."
Tsunade was taking her vitals and looking over her chart, making sure she didn't miss anything.
"He may be your husband, but he's still the Hokage. Besides, it's not like he's doing it to be mean. He's trying to make sure you don't kill yourself and your baby."
"I'm nothing but a human incubator. For him."
Tsunade put the chart down, walking over to her bed and leaning over, coming face to face with her.
"Do you realize how ridiculous you sound? I won't sugar coat it for you. He's taking shit from you over a baby that he never planned to have. He didn't want kids, remember? He's trying to keep you two safe. So stop acting like a bitch and do this one thing. If not for yourself, then for him and your baby. He's been here by your side for the past two days, give him a break."
She was right. The recovery was going to be tough because her body was already under the stress of growing another person. Tsunade picked the chart back up the chart, flipping through it again, annoyed.
"Human incubator. Hmph."
Mizuka threw herself back against her pillows, frustrated more with herself than with him at this point. Of course he stayed for two days; he probably laid with her and waited for her to wake up. She held her belly and began to cry tears for him instead of herself.
"Was he scared?"
"For two days, he gave me his authority to run the village and he stayed here. He was terrified. He either laid in bed talking to you or sat in that chair and talked to your belly. For two days straight. Shizune made him eat, or else he wouldn't have done that either. He waited here for you to wake up. He loves you deeply, Mizuka. Not everyone is lucky enough to have someone like Kakashi in their lives, so instead of being ridiculous, you should embrace that."
Tsunade put her chart back and turned to leave.
"Tsuna? If you see him, could you tell him to come back?"
"Yeah. He's just out getting ramen with Naruto. He'll be back soon."
"Is Hinata okay?"
Tsunade grinned.
"You did something dumb, but you did save the day. She's going to be fine, and she owes that to you. Now, get some rest, Kakashi will probably be back soon."
She smiled as the tears fell down her face, snuggling into the pillows while holding her baby bump. She was already thinking about how she would apologize to her loving husband. She only hoped he wasn't too angry at her for her outburst.
