Ino stood in front of the Hatake residence, knocking. She stood back, taking in the front of their home while she waited. It was a traditional, clan style home: a one story home with a courtyard, complete with a reflection pond. The Hatakes' were a small but powerful clan that had already doubled in size in the past year with the addition of two beautiful baby boys.
"Hey, Ino! Come on in!"
Mizuka opened the door, her flowing cherry bloom hair in a loose braid down her back. Ino followed her through the foyer and to the kitchen, to where the noise is coming from. She found Kakashi standing at the counter, sipping a steaming cup of tea, Sakura at the table talking to him, Inari eating bits of cereal from his high chair, and Sakumaru working his way around everyone's feet, squealing with delight. Ino pulled up a chair as Mizuka took her bag.
"You're rooming with Sakura; I figured you two would like some time together before she leaves."
Sakura looked over at her excitedly.
"It'll be like when we were kids!"
Ino smiled back. Sakumaru crawled his way over to Ino, yelling her name in his very Sakumaru way.
"Nonono!"
He clung to her knee and looked at her, waiting to be picked up. She did, and placed him on her lap. Mizuka reappeared, standing next to Kakashi, who was decked out in his Hokage robes. They couldn't have been any more different: Kakashi was tall and lanky and Mizuka was short and thick with curves. He was quiet and comtemplative, she was cheerful and boisterous. But, when they were near each other, their love was almost a tangible thing. They loved each other fiercely and without apology. Ino watched Z slide an arm around her lover's waist and share a smile with him. It was a bond that took years of experience to form, and one she hoped to one day forge as fiercely with a lover.
"Thanks for letting me stay with you guys. I really appreciate it."
"It's no problem, Ino. We love having you. And the boys love you being here."
He turned to his wife.
"I've got to run; I've got a meeting with the Kazekage today, and his advisors."
Mizuka reached up and grabbed him by the collar, pulling him down to her eye level and kissing him passionately.
"Good luck, Kakashi-kun."
Ino acted as if she didn't see the tender moment between them, but she couldn't help but smile.

Ino and Sakura laid in bed together, the lights off and the door open to the hallway. In the room across the hall, they could see Inari and Sakumaru asleep in their cribs. Somewhere else in the house, they could hear a soft, thudding sound.
Thud. Thud. Thud.
It had been going on for the past minute.
"Ino, what in the hell is that?"
Ino giggled quietly.
"That's Kakashi mounting your sister in their room."
"How do you know that?"
"Because I lived with your sister for two years. At least they're not moaning. Not yet..."
"Was Kakashi around a lot? I know she lived apart from him for years."
Ino snuggled up closer to her friend.
"Pretty often. At least a couple every couple of weeks. I would imagine whenever he wasn't on a mission, he was in Tenchi."
Ino could practically hear her friend lost in thought. Finally, Sakura spoke.
"Sasuke's only visited me twice in the past year, and I have the feeling he was mostly visiting Naruto."
"Well, every relationship is different. Mizuka and Kakashi were apart for nine years before they reconnected. This trip will probably make things between you two much clearer."
"Do you think that you could be apart from Sai for long periods of time?"
"I mean, if I had to, I'd make it through somehow. But, I don't even like Sai being gone for missions this long."
Sakura sighed.
"What's it like, having someone waiting for you at home?"
"Oh, Sakura, it's amazing. He's so sweet and gentle with me. He talk a lot and snuggle. And the sex is mind blowing."
Ino found herself gripping her sheets tightly, with tears in her closed eyes. She already missed him. The thudding finally stopped. Ino opened her eyes, trying to change the subject.
"Hey, Sakura. Do you think that Kakashi's good in bed?"
"Ummm..."
Sakura sounded kind of strange.
"...he is."
Ino shot straight up in bed.
"WHAT?"
Sakura pulled her back down.
"Shhh...."
"You slept with your sister's husband? Have you lost your mind?"
"Mizuka gave him to me for the night of my 19th birthday."
Ino was dumbstruck.
"Mizuka set it up?"
Sakura scooted closer.
"I don't think my sister likes Sasuke very much. Not that she even knows him. And I had been over quite a bit because, you know, my house gets lonely. And... Kakashi's a good looking man, especially without his mask..."
Ino giggled.
"Girl, I know."
"I guess that I was staring a little too much, because she offered him to me as a birthday present. I think her ulterior motive was to have me experience a man who isn't Sasuke. And, obviously, the best man she knows is Kakashi..."
"Wow. So dish. I need to know how he is in bed."
Sakura dropped back onto her back, holding her pillow.
"He's chisled and scarred all over his body, which makes him even more rugged and handsome. And he's got that Anbu tattoo on his bicep."
"Sai has that too. It makes him look like a badass."
"Yeah! He wasn't pushy, and he let me set the pace, and he made it clear that we could stop at any time if I was uncomfortable. And then he slowly blew my mind. His foreplay was slow and sensual. He sucked my nipples and kissed my gently all over. He really took his time. And then he pulled me into his lap and fucked me until we both came."
Even Ino was throbbing a little after this story.
"What I think surprised me the most was what happened afterwards. I figured I was going to leave, but he asked me to spend the night with him. And he held me close and told me that I was an important person in his life, and he would protect me. I think he took the opportunity to strengthen his bond with me. I think he saw that I needed to hear that, even if it was with someone I was never meant to be with."
Ino laid quietly next to her friend. That was a bold risk on her Sensei's part.
"And you're still leaving with Sasuke?"
"Because I need that for my own. My feelings for him haven't changed."
Ino laid next to her friend in silence, thinking:
Girl, I hope Sasuke is everything you're looking for, because it sounds like you're going to have a hard road ahead of you.
