Chapter 19 - *A.R*

So I decided it was unfair to end the story on the previous chapter...so I am going to carry on :D

The 5th of November was finally upon us, and currently I was standing in River’s grand conservatory. The others were stood outside in the garden drinking their various drinks and admiring his beautiful garden. 

“River!” I called across the room to my boss who was greeting all of his guests.

Upon hearing me call his name, he sauntered over. He was dressed in casual clothes for once but had a heavy black jacket on. Outside it was bitterly cold. Which was why I was dressed in jeans, combat boots and my green parka. 

“Alyce, how have you been? I see you brought your entire house” He joked looking at Michael and Luke who were distantly standing from Ashton and L.P outside in the garden.

Calum bounced up behind me around wrapped his arms around my waist playfully. I placed my hands over his and held him tightly. I felt the hot breath on my chilly neck. My relationship with the lad had barely changed, accept we didn’t kiss and we certainly haven't had sex since that time.

“I certainly did. This is Calum, I’ll introduce you to the others at some point this evening” I said as I introduced Calum.

He unwrapped his arm from around my waist to shake my bosses hand before Rvier excused himself to go and talk to Alik who had just arrived with a leggy date who was dressed less than appropriately for the event. 

I turned around so that I was facing Calum and we had a brief conversation on what was happening with Luke and Ashton. I told him I had no idea and tonight I wasn't too bothered as I just wanted to have fun. He chuckled. I knew this was hard on him, it was hard on me too. I wanted to just leap into his arms and cuddle him. However I knew that was wrong. 

Moments after we decided to re-join the broken up group. Calum went to Ashton and L.P first, while I went over to Luke and Michael. From what I had heard, Michael and L.P had sort of made up but it was still rocky between them. And as for Luke, I was going to end up breaking his heart once again when I tell that I slept with Calum; but then hopefully I can make it better by telling him we split up. 

Ashton on the other hand already knew about Calum and I. He laughed when I told him but wasn't surprised. He said it was bound to happen at some point but that he was glad I had come to my senses. 

“Hey boys” I smiled greeting both of them. Michael smiled and Luke opened his arms to embrace me. 

Falling into his arms with such ease he tightened his arms around me and held me close. Since we were outside and it was freezing the warmth was actually amazing. His hands fiddled with my hair as we waited for the fireworks. 

Out of the side of my eye I could see Ashton, he was doing his best to chat with L.P and Calum but he kept making cheeky gestures knowing that I was watching him. He was so naughty. 

“I really enjoyed our date” Luke murmured into my hair.

My date with Luke was incredibly amazing. He took me to Covent Garden for a lovely meal, followed by a walk along Chelsea Embankment. I loved being in his presence. We then went back to his hotel room. Thankfully Michael had gone out with Calum so we made good use of the empty hotel room. Obviously, I did not stay over. 

“Same” I spoke gently as I felt his lips graze my forehead. 

Luke smelt gorgeous tonight. I could tell he had put on his new cologne that I had told him I loved. His hair was perfectly quaffed and he looked adorable in his little coat. There were so many feelings for this lad, but I couldn't help but be intrigued and captivated by Ashton’s cheeky suggestive gestures.
