Jane P.O.V
I walk out into the festivities. Girls are being pampered and are awaiting to be judged. Judge on beauty, judged on their grace. I continue down the street. Annie yells out to me, signalling me to come.
She looks me up and down, as if decided whether to take the risk. She pulls out a dress. It is a cream colour with a yellow ribbon around the waist.
"Seriously?" I sigh, just realising what I have gotten myself into.
"Remember Ladylike....." She smirks as she repeats what I said only last night.
I sigh and raise my arms so she can slip the dress over my head. She laughs as she tugs at my hair. I sigh. This is my life now. I will suffer to stop girls from suffering.
I hear trumpets signalling the Prince is coming. Annie hurries her pace.
"Stay still" she scolds me while applying makeup.
"Prince Michael." The announcer calls.
Annie finished my makeup and shoved me out the door.
The prince is riding his stallion, assessing the contenders. Maidens curtsy as he passes. I curtsy, praying I won't fall. I sigh, standing back up. He smiles at me.
Crap, I may actually have a chance.
He continues down the street surrounded by flawless females. My mind repeating all the possible outcomes.
Annie steps behind me.
"Do it for the society, kill them while they are weak." she whispers in my ear.
I nod in approval. I am doing this for the society.
"Long Live the Queen" I repeat the final line of the society's pledge. Knowing i won't
be able to speak of it again.

Annie P.O.V
I smirk at the reference to the pledge. Everyone knows Jane is born to be a Queen. Maybe not Queen of this kingdom, but of a new society. The society will be proud of her. I step back as she goes off to the trials of purity, beauty and grace. I wave as she leaves. A nervous glance is what she leaves behind, and a smile coats her face with joy as fake as all the other girls.
I walk back inside, I am greeted by the other members of the society. No one knows the name of the society. But we know our cause. To save our kind, to protect the future generations.
"Once we rule just one kingdom, we will rule one more. Then one by one until all kingdoms have been overthrown. A New Reign will begin. She is hope for us." I exclaim to the others.
"Long live the queen" A figure steps forth.
A figure I have never seen her in this kingdom before.
"I am sent by the ruler of the society. She has heard of your plan, and has sent her wishes to Jane and our members within this kingdom." She pauses, to look around the room. "She also wants me to deliver a message to Janes closest friend in this society." She hands me an envelope while looking me in the eyes. "Now I wish you goodnight, and pray that your plan succeeds " She smiles. "We all do."
Shs leaves the room. Silence remains in her place though. We all stand around the table.
"Will the plan work." One says, as if doubting our decision.
"I hope it will."
