Jane POV

I wake up to the sun streaming through the blinds. For once I have had a decent rest, and today we will put phase two of the plan into action. The new plan, that is.

Since Adam believes that Charlotte isn't apart of the 'secret' organisation, then we can continue to use him for our advantage. I plan to meet Charlotte today.

I stretch out my back getting up from the bed.

"Best-... sleep... ever." I yawn, walking over to my closet. I pull out my dress for today. It is a nice yellow sundress that has a white ribbon around my waist. There are small details of bees on the bottom of the skirt. I usually hate dresses, but they are useful. I can hide many daggers on myself. I slip on some white flats and tied my hair up into a loose braid. Once all of my weapons are in place, I make my way downstairs.

There is a group of girls standing at the bottom of the staircase. I walk towards them. As if it were magic they separated like the sea, um... from the bible. You know the story. I think it was at least...

A girl hands me a piece of paper that they were looking at. I raise my eyebrow but take it anyway. My name is neatly written on top.

'Lady Jane,

The prince would like to formally thank you for your efforts, and invites you to lunch in the gardens. Please be there at noon.'

I look around at the girls. The majority are glaring at me, but some look at me in awe.

Deja vu or what?

I continue to move through the crowd. It's already 11 and it takes about half an hour to get there.

"Where are you going, Lady Jane?" A voice calls from behind me, just as I was about to open the front doors.

I was just about to escape this all.

Sighing, I turn facing the crowd, which seems to be eager for my response.

"To lunch," I turn and walk straight out the door, away from the peering eyes of the women. Well they act more like spoiled young brats.

I shake my head, laughing a bit at my own joke.

Walking towards the gardens I see many fellow Queens. There isn't enough to overpower the royal guards but there is enough to control them with some extra convincing.

Like the Royals heads on the line.

A scowl makes it way onto my face as the thought of someone already knowing about our plan this early on in the operation. And that I was the one to blow our cover. If Annie knew about this I would be black and blue by the time she is done 'lecturing' me.

Last time that happened...

I mentally wince at the memory. That was not a good day. At all.

I walk through the village like normal, Unlike most times, my eyes are drawn to a figure lurking in the shadows. I can faintly see their royal guard uniform under a large trench coat.

Spy!

I focus back on walking towards the palace gardens, acting as if nothing has happened. I maintain a steady pace.

The further into town I get the more spies I notice. I keep tabs on all of them. There are two to my left, another three behind me, several are walking through alleyways whilst keeping me in eyesight.

This is bad. Why are there spies following me. Who sent them?

I keep my pace steady, my hand inching towards the dagger on my waist, which is concealed by the ribbon. Thank goodness that I wore a dress today.
