YOUR POV (point of view)

Blaring furiously, my alarm starts blaring at me as i start to acknowledge the sunny rays shining in my groggy eyes. Today was the day I'd go to the script reading for the first season of the umbrella academy. I scramble out of the warmth of my homely bed and examine the day ahead of me. I'd finally meet the rest of the cast, the day I'd been both dreading and admiring. As my thoughts cloud my brain foggy, I throw my feet over the edge of my bed and stomp over to the bathroom, turning on the shower and getting the temperature perfect. Today was going to be amazing.

Jumping out of the shower, I get dressed into some black ripped jeans and an oversized, navy blue hoodie, and skip down the stairs (nearly falling over once or twice). I go into the kitchen and make myself some breakfast, when my mum comes in.
"Morning, beautiful" she beams at me
"Good morning, mum" I return the smile and start eating
"Today's the big day, eh?"
"Yep!" I say excitedly, refusing to sit still, almost bouncing in my seat.

*time skip*

I'm getting out of the passenger seat of my mums car and wave at her.
"Bye darling, love you, have a great time!"
"Bye, mum" i say as i stumble out of the car, waving profusely before going into the building of the address I was given. As soon as i go in, I see a member of the cast who I had spoken to at one of the auditions before wave at me.
"y/n!! heyyy!" He almost screams in my face as he hugs me tightly
"Ethan!! hiya!" I say matching his energy, hugging him back almost as tightly.
Ethan Hwang, who you knew was playing young Ben.
"Awww its great to finally meet you!" he whispers in your ear
"Likewise" you giggle in response. 

"oh, there's someone you need to meet!" Lizzy says, pulling away from the hug
"oh really? who?" you say, curiosity filling you very quickly
"oh speak of the devil... Aidan!!" she says, running up to this pretty damn gorgeous boy.
"Lizzy!" the boy chuckles, giving her a hug.
"It's been too long! oh, Aidan, this is y/n. y/n, this is Aidan." he smiles kindly at you and you do back
"Hey.." Aidan says
"Hi, who do you play?" you ask, wanting to know more about him
"I play number five, you?"
"I-i play number e-eight" you suddenly start staring at him, zoning out as Lizzy was droning on about something or the other.
"y/n? y/nnn?? y/n!" you suddenly hear Lizzy screaming in your face.
"I'm listening! I'm listening!" you hear Aidan chuckle slightly and listen to what Lizzy was saying.

"Anyway, so I was thinking that we could all go to the beach together? You know, us three, Mace and Casey?"
"That sounds great!" Aidan says, cheerily
"Yeah, I'm up for it!" You say, matching his tone.
"Great!" As if on cue, a bell sounds, signifying that the script reading was about to start.
"I'll meet you guys when you're finished, okay?" Lizzy says
"Yeah" you say, smiling at her
"Of course!" Aidan says, as he turns to you
"You ready?" He says to you, looking slightly nervous
"Always. Are you?" You say, very confidently
"Uh, I-I think" he says, looking worried
"You'll be great. Now let's go!" You say, grabbing his hand and pulling him to the script reading.

Once you get there, you look down to see your hands still locked together, and pull away, blushing hard and looking down at your feet.
"S-sorry..." you mumble to him as you hear him chuckle softly
"It's okay." He says sweetly.
You sit down and try to rub it off, but find yourself thinking about it the entire time.
