Song: ready now- dodie

The diner had a lovely aesthetic and you and Aidan sat down at this small table for two by a window. You get given menus for drinks, main course and dessert.

After a few minutes of you two talking about absolute nonsense, this waitress comes up to you both.
"Hello! I'm Molly, and I'll be your waitress for the day! Have you decided on drinks yet?" She says, never wiping the over-the-top smile off of her face.
"Yes, I'll take a strawberry milkshake."
Aidan says, smiling kindly at her.
"And I'll take a vanilla milkshake."
Her smile is still on her face as she writes them down, taking your drink menus away.
"Of course, those'll be with you two lovebirds shortly." She then walked off, her fake smile still present.
You smile and blush at the comment. You two really did look like a couple, you got why she mistook you two as a couple, but it still surprised you a bit. Aidan obviously has to see you blushing as he then grabs your hand (that was so stupidly sweating) and kiss it, making you blush even harder.
"M'lady" he smiles, and that's when you realise, he's going to go out of his way to make your face go as red as it can go. You roll your eyes, yanking your hand away, even though you sort of didn't really want to.

After a couple of minutes, Molly came back with your drinks. You thank her, before grabbing your straw.
"Ah ah ah! Put it down." Aidan demanded. You put it down with a questioning look. He then grabbed his phone, taking a picture. You made sure to get out of the way before he took it. He then put his phone away in his jacket pocket, the one that you temporarily stole from him, and sit his drink, leaving himself with a whipped cream moustache. You take a sip of your milkshake, then look at him, making you start to choke. He looks at you concerned, and you sip a bit more, trying to stop. You come to a stop, doing a few random giggles, to which Aidan sighs a sigh of relief.
"I'm so sorry..." he says, clearly feeling bad, making you just laugh a bit at how flustered he got.
"It's okay" you say, catching your breath a bit. Holy shit that was embarrassing.

The meal went by in a bit of a blur, but you remember laughing a lot, and blushing a whole lot more. But you knew you could relax around him and trust him with your life, even though you got this feeling in your chest that made it ache and feel heavy but in a good way, and it made you want to cry of happiness, and hug whatever you could, and a feeling in your stomach that made it swirl every time you looked into the emerald green pools that others would call eyes. (oOf went a bit deep there)

You both go out and look at the sunset, smiling at each other.
"So... wanna go to the fair?" He says, regrettably tearing his eyes away from you to look at the magical sunset.
"Of course!" You say, still looking at him.

Once you get to the fair, you start to get slightly overwhelmed with how much there is to do. There's tons of rides, cotton candy, popcorn, and games. You look over at Aidan's big, goofy smile on his face, and he grabs your hand and yanks you over to the cotton candy stand, buying some for the both of you. He then takes you over to the house of mirrors. He pays for you both, even though you told him not to quite a few times, and that you had enough money in your phone case for the rest of the night, yet he insisted.

He took more pictures of you both in the house of mirrors, and when you both got out, the sun was nearly gone.
"You wanna watch the night rise on the Ferris wheel?" He asks, an amazing look of curiosity taking over his features.
"Obviously!" You say, running over to it with him.

You both get on, him paying again, and you start talking about each other's lives, before you both finally reach the top, just as the black, starry night took over the beautiful sky, leaving Aidan in this gorgeous light, bringing out his sparkling eyes, something that you couldn't take your eyes off of. He was like a piece of artwork, made perfectly, not a single hair out of line, even though the wind had in fact made his hair go slightly crazy (and yours too). Suddenly, Aidan asks a question you never saw coming.
"Hey, um.. y/n?" He says, eyes travelling from the bottom of the kart of the Ferris wheel to your eyes, causing you to blush lightly.
"Yeah?"
"Do you have a boyfriend? O-or a girlfriend? Which is totally fine, obviously, I-I just need to know.." He says, getting flustered.
"No, I'm, uh, I'm single. And not gay! Hehe.." (I'm bi and very gay lmao)
"Oh okay.. good, good. No, not good like that! I-I mean, um... gosh, look at that sky.." he says, trying hard to change the subject. You giggle at his attempt, looking up at the sky with him. You couldn't think of a better place to be with a better person.

Once off the Ferris wheel, he drags you over to the darts game, with massive teddy bears on show as prizes.
"Here, hold this." He says, shoving his candy floss in your face, signalling for you to take it. You take it, giving him a confused expression, but just watching. He then starts throwing darts at targets, getting them in the middle every time. You just stood astonished, eating his candy floss, even though you had your own. He then grabs a big purple bear, and gives you it, taking his (half eaten) candy floss back. He then went to take a picture of you with it, and you covered your face with the giant teddy. Tonight was amazing.

Sorry to stop on such an awkward note, it's just school starts tomorrow and I need to go to sleep like right now, so the start of the next chapter will just be you two going back to his house, which I'm so sorry about lmao. I'll be trying to post every two days (no promises though). See you soon, my loveliessss x
