"Oh I'm so sorry, y/n, excuse me for a second, will you?" He says, rushing off, leaving you confused, sad, and slightly angry. What the hell was that about?

Then you realised something that you'd forgotten because of all of the craziness that had ensued.

The rest of the party flew by, and even though you really weren't in the mood, you ended up having an amazing conversation with Casey, and the two of you danced the time away. You didn't see Mace for the rest of the night though, and were wondering what was going on with him, and if he had left early. You had also seen Lizzy going up the stairs, but you shrugged it off, thinking she was probably just going to the bathroom.

You were just seeing Casey, the last person to leave, out, and go upstairs, ready to finally have a good nights sleep in your own bed, but when you got up there, you saw someone sitting on your bed. It was dark, so all you could make out was a silhouette (wow I spelt that right first time).
"Y/n... I-I need to tell you something..." you instantly recognised the voice, as Mace's.
"M-Mace? What is it? Is everything okay??" You say, concern laced in your voice.
"It's..." he pauses to take a breath.
"It's Aidan..." you tense up at the two small words.
"What? Wh-what's happened to h-him?!"
"Well... I-I was sort of, well, watching.. when y-you got hit by that car... I-I wasn't stalking you!! I just happened to be nearby, with this girl..." he says, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly at the mention of this girl (eyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy MahnajIslam )
"A-and I saw it all happen. I-it was as if it was all in slow motion, do you know what I mean?" He says, tears threatening to spill from his glass like eyes.
"Yes, trust me, I understand." You say, grabbing a hold of his hand. (GUYS CALM DOWN HES JUST A REALLY GOOD FRIEND DONT SCREAM PLEASE)
"Well, Aidan saw the whole thing as well..." he says hesitantly.
"Then why didn't he visit me in hospital?? And why didn't he come here, tonight??" You ask, getting more frustrated by the minute.

"H-he got hit as well..." he says, trembling ever so slightly, bracing for your reaction.
"wHAT??!!" You practically scream in his face.
"WHY DIDNT I KNOW??"
"Well, it's why he didn't visit you, why he isn't here right now. I-I didn't tell you, b-because... well, I thought you had enough on your mind right now... y/n I am so, so sorry..." he trails off, a painful, sad look on his face, making your heart throb and ache.
"I'm going to see him. Right. Now. Where is he?" You say, standing up.
"He's still in hospital, we'll go together." He says, standing up next to you.

This is really short and isn't finished but I desperately need to post and I'm so sorry and so yeah. I'm posting this right before I go out and I don't know when I'll next be able to post so I'm just gonna put this tiny chapter out there because it's bad how much I haven't posted.
