Annabeth POV

"So that's how I beat him up." Reyna finished off her sentence and Annabeth burst out laughing, doubling over. 

"That's hilarious," She choked out, her ribs heaving with laughter. Reyna had just told her a story  about when she was seven years old and was playing at the beach with her toys and some boy her age took them...well the end result was pretty bad the kid going home sobbing snd Reyna going back to her work. 

"So...wanna come over to my house tonight?" Reyna said nervously. Annabeth was surprised at first, it was Thursday and her and Reyna had been put into another class with each other and well...they hit it off pretty quickly. 

"Sure."

"Cool, if my sister is there just ignore her. She's a pain." Reyna shrugged slightly. 

"Oh, okay. Is she annoying or something?" 

"In a way...she thinks she boss." Reyna mumbled and looked to the brick building in front of them. 

"Oh." She replied in a small voice, she knew about bosses....

"Hey Annabeth!" Someone called to her from across the courtyard. There was the figure of Frank Zhang stumbling his way to her. He was cute in an oversized  cuddly panda bear way, yet strong but sweet like a massive panda bear stuffed in armor and forced to look strong. No wonder Hazel had the hugest crush on the big guy. 

"What's up Zhang?" She couldn't help but smile largely. He scratched the back of his head nervously. 

"So Per-Pablo wanted to know if you wanted to come over to Mauntak over the weekend, he whole gang is going." Frank said nervously and winced as if she would take a blow to his head or something. At first she was shocked. Going to Mauntak? Wasn't that like a beach on Long Island Sound or something? Why would Pablo want to go there and why of all sorts invite her? He was kind of cute. The way he smiled when he heard the word blue or the way he complained in his baby seal face...shit was she growing a crush? No way? Sure she enjoyed his company but still....she couldn't crush on him, especially when he seemed off and really uncomfortable in his body like he was impersonating someone else. 

"Montauk?" She questioned, Frank tapped his foot nervously on the yellow grass. 

"When Per-Pablo was little his mom used to take him to this little shack on the beach, I'm pretty sure it's basically where Pablo felt safest. I think." Frank  shifted his feet nervously and cleared his throat a few times. 

"When?" She said cautiously afraid to scare the giant panda bear away. 

"Not this weekend but the next." Frank clarified. And then he jogged off without hearing if Annabeth wanted to go or not. 

"Well that was interesting." Reyna said cooly from behind her. 

"Yeah, you know Jameson?" Annabeth asked Reyna. 

"In a way." Reyna narrowed her dark eyes and followed to where Frank was running, but then he disappeared behind the corner of a building and out of sight. 

"So are you gonna go?" Reyna asked. 

She shrugged. "Don't know, I'll probally have to speak to Athena and see if I can take the weekend off." 

"Oh" Reyna replied like she wasn't expecting the answer. 

An hour later Annabeth showed up at work. 

"Annabeth!" Malcolm's dreary face broke into a wide grin. She gave him a hug like she handn't seen him yesterday. It was always like this. 

"Hear the news?" Malcolm's grin faded a little but he kept it up nevertheless.
