MEMORIES~
'Are they senile? Why would they beat him up like that? Just because he's a new kid,' I sighed.
'Why do you care? You don't actually...' Anna started giggling, earning a death glare from me.
'Gosh, you're so narrow minded Anna. No, I don't like him. I feel for him,'
'Oh, yeah, feel,' she said sarcastically. It was always useless arguing with Anna over something. She was my best friend but we often argued on stuff since we thought differently about some things.
I got up from my seat and went towards the new kid, standing before him. His eyes slowly travelled upwards and they lit up as if he'd seen the light from heaven. He stared at me in disbelief, but with a hint of victory in his stare. I cleared my throat to get his attention. He stood up, with a swift of motion, and asked to shake my hand. I agreed, smiling at him.
'Jenna,'
'Jason,'
I don't know what i thought at that moment, or the feeling I had, but it was one of suspicion. The way he smiled, the way he stood, it seemed as if...he knew me somehow? Maybe it was just my sixth sense messing with my head. I waved that feeling off and sat with him, getting out my lunch to eat before the break ended.
'Jenna,' he said in a soft voice. I looked at him. He had such kind eyes.
'Hm?'
'How have you been?'
'Fine,' I gave a toothy smile and took another bite.
'Thanks for accompanying me, but,' he checked his watch and got up, 'I have to go,' He started walking away before I replied, hands in his pocket. He was good-looking, undoubtedly. The only thing that made him a freak was how he acted around people. Why did he walk away so suddenly even though he seemed so happy to see me?
I got up and made my way to class. The moment I got there, my eyes landed on Jason, sitting alone on a desk, writing something on his register. Amanda, the slut of the school walked towards him while swaying her hips to make him notice. She stood before him, but he didn't even look up. I almost giggled but stifled it in case she doesn't see me and put up a show.
'So you're the new guy?' Said she in her high pitched, annoying voice. He ignored her and continued writing in his notebook.
'i'm talking to you,' I could sense the annoyance in her voice. He got up from his chair and started walking away, not even looking back at her. I chuckled, unable to hold it in any longer. He spotted me on my chair and started coming towards me, while Amanda gave me the death glares.
'You're in the same class?' He sat next to me.
'Yeah, I love psychology,'
'It's always great to know how a person thinks like, like unraveling the secrets of the deepest part of the brain,' Impressive.
'You seem to be more interested in it than I am,' i gave out a small laugh.
He simply smiled and looked at my eyes, staring at them intently, as if trying to embed the details in his brain. 'I- have to go to-'
'I know, I'll see you later,' He stood up and walked back to the seat he was sitting on, getting out his notebook again.
'The bathroom.'

I didn't see Jason for almost two weeks after this. Anna told me she'd seen him, though, several times near the basketball ground. Once, she told me, she'd seen him getting beat up from a member of the team as well. In time, I thought he didn't really want to keep the friendship after all, hence he was avoiding me. It did hurt me alittle. I missed those eyes he stared at me with. They gave me warmth, which was odd yet soothing.
I sat at the cafeteria, staring at my phone blankly. I was thinking about jason, again.
'Thinking about him again? Gosh, get over it,' She sighed and continued eating.
'You don't get it, he's really nice and I kind of like him,' I admitted, biting my lip.
'Wait,' she put back her lunch and looked at me, 'Like?'
'As in. Like a friend,' I corrected.
'Right,' she didn't seem to take that and stood up from her chair.
'I'll meet you after class, you better show up!' I nodded. Then, I remembered that I needed to take back my notes from Laila today so I took off towards the gym, forgetting my phone on the table.
I kept running towards her locker but, out of nowhere, a guy appeared before me and I bumped into him, falling in the process.
'Well, well, well,' Who was this? Seemed familiar.
'You don't reply to my messages anymore?'
'Who are you?'
'Who am I?' he mocked hurt and showed me his conversation with me on his phone.
'You're that creepy stalker?' He pulled me up by my hair, slamming me to the locker behind me. My back ached at the impact.
'What are you doing?'
'What do you think you are, huh? Why do you ignore me?'
'Because you're not a good guy and I won't ever date you!' I almost shouted. He slapped me hard across the face, my lips throbbed because of the force.
'What the hell is wrong with you?' I screamed again. He pulled my hair, forcibly lifting my face up to kiss me. I kicked him in the groin, making him recoil, and started running away, but he grabbed my foot, making me fall on my face.
'Leave me alone!' I shouted. He climbed on me and started kissing me again. I spat at his face, earning another slap. 'You fucking-' He kissed again, making me cringe in disgust.
'HELP! HELP!' I screamed desperately. He grinned at me, and pushed me up towards the locker, opening it with his foot, while I struggled to push him away so I could run. Suddenly, someone tapped him on the shoulder and he turned back to see jason staring at him with the scariest expression I'd ever seen.
