'I miss her,' I croaked, wiping away my tears.

'Jenna, sometimes, you just have to let people go. Friends are temporary, you should relax. Have a drink,' He passed his drink over to mine, taking out his notebook again, and in a calm, peaceful posture, started to scribble something on it.

'What are you doing?' I asked, leaning forward to look at his notebook. He sat up straight, and flipped a few pages back, trying to cover it up by continuing the convo.

'Anna doesn't appreciate you, Jenna.'

'Yeah..' I looked at the notebook again, filled with math problems from our previous class.

'Can I see..?' He stood up from his chair, flashing his charming smile and with a fair well, went towards his class..which he didn't have at this hour. I sighed. What was getting to me? I was going woo-doo since the fight I'd had.

Out of the blue, Bryan sat infront of me. I got up, quickly, to avoid any conversation but he held my hand, stopping me mid-way. His eyebrows were furrowed, dark shadows occupying the area under his eyes. He seemed like he'd been to hell and back.

'Leave my hand,' I snatched my hand away, starting to walk away when he suddenly blurted,

'I like you jenna,' My heart paced, my cheeks started heating up, the adrenaline gave a push to my body, a vigour I never knew I had  in me made me punch him and the rest was in slow motion. He fell down his bench, holding the region near his stomach, his eyes tearing up due to the intense pain.

'I've always..liked you...Jenna,' I turned back to see Anna, her eyes bloodshot, her look murderous.

'It's not my fault,' I mouthed, my cheeks red, my throat dry. She seemed unmoving, hurt beyond rejoicing. She got up from her bench, her heels clicked as she came towards me,

'You're a wh*re,'

She slapped me, quickly turning away to walk towards the exit.

'What a friend,' I turned back to look at him, his finger on his chin, as if giving something a thought. I looked down at the floor, trying to hold back my tears that pricked at my eyes.

'It's..not my fault,' I murmured, almost, to myself. He turned me round to face him, looking deep into my eyes. His eyes were so re-assuring, so..soothing. He hugged me, patting my back in order to calm me down.

'I'm always here for you, jenna. Always..'
