The heart monitor spiked as Luka's fear and terror spread through him.

They don't know that they'll only be happy if I'm gone.
Because why else am I here?
The heart monitor blared through the room irregularly.
The sound of rushing steps was heard loudly beyond the hospital door.
Luka looked down at his wrists and his arms.
They were pale and smooth with white scars littered all over them.
Luka sobbed.
"w-HY DO I STILL KEEP HEALING?"
"STOP HEALING."
"STOP."
The door was thrown open.
Familiar faces flooded the room with worried expressions.
But seeing them drove Luka insane with fear.
His body that had stickers plastered over his body and tubes sticking out everywhere with an IV drip connected to his arm was suddenly ripped off by his sharp claws; eyes slit in fear. Luka's mind was hazy as loud voices flooded the room, not registering their pleading, not registering the worry in their eyes. Didn't register the love in their eyes.
Luka loves every single one of them.
