As she stepped out of room Nick had instructed her,to get to her birthday present, she looked down at herself.
Her half glove was undone. It was one of those gloves that covered only three fingers and small portion of the hand to keep it safe from the string of the bow.Her father had one as well.

She tightened it around her wrist not noticing the two pair of eyes staring at her.She looked up and stopped on her trucks when she saw Steve and Sam there.Probably stopping from a conversation they had."New suit?"Steve asked,a more hopeful glint on his eyes than before.

"Birthday present from Nick."she smiled his way as she looked down at herself once more. The black, blue and purple entwined in her vest and leggings. Her boots reached her knees,a hawk embroideried on each ankle.

With bow and quiver strapped along her shoulder she moved to the two males. Not only were enough things related with archery in that room but also new technology.Stark technology.Which she took advantage of.A stabilizer for targets and a lot more small objects like cameras and microphones.

The two shared a look showing that they had no idea that it was her birthday a week ago.Men.It's not like everyone knew when her birthday was but she was glad they knew now."Happy belated birthday."Sam said with a smile, feeling proud of himself that he said it.Valerie smiled and nodded, saying a small 'thank you' in his direction.

"So how about a small get to know mission as a present?"Steve asked. She raised a dark eyebrow, her head titling on the side.

She let the string go and her arrow zoomed away, attaching itself on the building in front of her.She tagged on the rope that was also attached on it and after making sure it was steady she started to climb, nodding to Steve to follow her.

The two climbed all the way up the side of the building and into its roof. There they found a small glass part that raised like a small roof with one of the panels open.Steve removed it carefully and jumped all the way down inside the building. This man was insane sometimes. No alarm went off meaning that they were good.

Valerie followed by attaching her belt to another rope, stabbing an arrow to the ground next to her before sliding all the way down next to Steve.

She detached the rope, once her feet were safely on the ground and looked around."Why are we in a museum?"she asked quietly her voice echoing in the empty building.Steve didn't reply since he was walking with long strides towards a specific direction. She rolled her eyes.

The brunette followed behind him,her hazel eyes taking in the whole place. The American flags along the walls and the various vintage pictures filled her view.Or better the pictures of the one and only Captain America. This museum was about him.But what were they doing here?

'Welcome Home,Cap.'Read a wall with another American flag.Steve walked down the rest of the room to a few mannequins wearing the clothes that apparently belonged to Captain America,or him previously, and his squad. She let Steve to drink in the whole thing since he had a small nostalgic vibe around himself.

She wasn't sure what they needed to do here but the whole vibe this place gave was so old,so nostalgic in a way.Like you could see how it was during the 40s.It was amazing she almost left her mouth open.

Her eye caught a big screen showing a video with various moments of Steve fighting Nazis.A few of them riding a motorcycle and a few more with his squad on his travelling car.The last one was Steve with another man.He seemed so familiar that she could swear her brain put the Winter Soldier just beside his image. She squinted her eyes lightly. Then it clicked.
