Sitting silently in her seat, she saw Aj come to her side with a comforting smile and his arms open, ready to emrace her and wipe away every tear that was only moments away from falling from her eyes. She clearly saw that this was his dream and didn't want to influence him out of doing what he loved. But not even fate could have prepared her for what he was soon to do.
Despite being to shy to tell Amy that he loved her, throughout the eight years they've been together, through her tear filled eyes, she saw him on one knee. He was holding a small black box in front of her that caressed a small golden band with the single most beautiful of diamonds, resting on the side. His voice was shaking and breaking as he uttered a few sentences that her fast hearts constant beating wouldn't allow her to hear. She was happy but was able to calm down enough to hear his last few, nervous words.
"So, what I guess I'm trying to say is will you marry me?" The words came from his lips so smoothly as if he'd practiced it in front of the mirror a thousand times.
