"Are you going to be alright?" Tanner said as he turned after closing the door behind him.

With a blank facial expression, the blankness quickly turned to anger as Amy bluntly screamed, "Aj is dead! Do you really think I'm going to be alright?" As she said this, she realized that Tanner was the only person who she has had social contact with in months, she puled him into a hug and spoke gently. "I'm so sorry, Tanner. I haven't talked to anyone since I found out and . . . it's been rough." Tanner just nodded his head and told her that he would be there for her, no matter what the cost may be.

After constant talking, coffee was made and they talked to each other like they were back in high school once more. Reminicing and laughter filled the air, as Amy felt that pit of lonliness in her heart begin to fade. Could it be? Was Amy falling for Tanner? A feeling of embarrasment and guilt over took her as she noticed he has his eyes locked on her. She locked her eyes on Tanner and looked deep into his eyes. Something was wrong. She looked at tanner, but saw Aj.

Tanner slowly leaned in and genuinly kissed Amy on the lips, which took her by surprise. She couldn't help but think of Aj as she continued to betray her love for him. She didn't want to kiss Tanner, but she also didn't want to be alone anymore. She let her mind take over instead of her heart and deepened the kiss. Tanner carefully stood from his chair, as well as Amy did, and lifted her off the ground. In swift motions, he led her upstairs and into the master bedroom. Amy didn't know what she was doing, therefore she couldn't let her heart take control. She was still stuck on the fact that this was Aj's best friend.
