Tanner stood relaxed, as he reached for the door handle. Amy, on the other hand was nervous and scared. Both stopped dead in their tracks and their jaws went shooting for the floor. Aj. There he was, in plain sight. Aj stood in the doorway with a face more blank than an empty canvas. Aj soon realized what he had interuppted and his facial expression turned straight to heartbreak and anger. Amy, still stunned at the sight of Aj, drew back to the wall and fell to the floor.
As both the tension and the silence grew, Amy couldn't find it in herself to cry. The happiness and dispair inside her heart and mind clashed, leaving her unable to process reality. Aj gave her a look, a look that obviously told her that he was hurt. He felt betrayed. Aj turned around and walked to his car. He quickly slammed the drivers door shut, started the engine and raced down the one was street. Tanner quietly turned to Amy, who was still on the floor. Tanner was speechless, along with Amy. He stepped closer to her side, but was immediatly stopped when she looked him dead in the eyes and said two words, hoping that it would get her point across.
"Get . . . Out." She said firmly. Tanner didn't hesitate to gather his things that were scattered throughout the house and leave. It was then when amy realized what had happened. Tanner used Aj's 'death' as an excuse to sleep with her. She was weak.
