Amy's heartbeat raced, not knowing what was going on. She gently place the bracelet on the top of the dresser and turned her attention to the note. She reached in and picked up, she was curious as to what he was planning. Through tear filled eyes, she began to open the uniquely folded note. Again she read the note in her head.
"Amy, you may have noticed and are now wondering
where the other half of the heart is. Well, I have it.
Just to show our love together can survive anything
put in it's path. You'll get the other half of the charm
once I return home. I love you. ~Aj "
By the time Amy had read through the note, tears were fallin from her eyes as if they were cement bricks. She may have been crying, but this didn't stop her from smiling. Amy thought this was too cute, cheesy if you may. Amy closed the dresser drawer and put both notes and the bracelet on her bedside table. right next to the alarm clock. Afterwards she continued on through her day with making the bed, dressing herself, and heading to the kitchen to make her morning coffee. Once the coffee was done, she poured herself a cup, sat down at the dining room table, and waited. She didn't really know what she was waiting for, but she felt as if all she could do was wait.
