Driving through town, Aj no where in sight, was scary. He feelings were scattered somewhere between fear, anger, and hurt. Feelings on anger for him not coming home all faded to fear as an ambulance passed her car. Becuase Amy has always been a paranoid person, she worried over the littlest of things. As the minutes passes that Amy followed this ambulance through town, she got a little more worried.

    Then she saw it.

About four blocks from the motel, Amy pulled into a parking lot just behind the ambulance. She opened the drivers door and was nearly deafened from the sound of screams, sirens, and just from the sound of her thoughts. Once more, Amy was afraid of what she was to see behind the ambulance in this enstranges parking lot. To her desmay, her fears and wildest, scariest dreams became reality. Smoke filled the air and skid marks covered the ground as she finally got a clear view of what she had missed. A silver Mustang GT with black racing striped was on it's roof with a pool of blood streaming from the drivers side. Automatically, Amy knew this was Aj's car. Amy pushed past the crown and beyond the police tape, arguing with medics and policemen.

Finally, she pushed past the police and raced to his side, only to see him with her own eyes, filled with tears and sorrow. This time, there was no mistake. Aj was dying right there before her.

"Why didn't you wait?" Aj said with one of his last few breaths. Amy felt so guilty. She betrayed her one and only true love. Her heart same. She kissed his forehead.

"Don't change the subject," he said in a low, fading, sarcastic voice. The smile on his face cause a rush of relief to fill Amy's heart. Amy giggled through the tears that started racing to the ground. Aj attempted to laugh but winced in pain. Then, Amy felt it. She felt the same feeling that she felt when they first met, the reason the two were together. Suddenly, Aj coughed and reality struck Amy. She knew it would all be over quite too soon. As medics and police began to surround them, Aj carefully raises his finger and points to the sky. A shooting star.

"I wish Amy will be happy."

Amy couldn't grasp the fact that this was the end. Her tears grew violent as she grabbed his hands and held on tight. After moments that seemed like eternities, she gave him one, final kiss on his forhead and said those three words . . .

    "I love you."

Amy stepped away from the gurney, only to hear him call her name. "Amy!" His voice was just barely a whisper. She stepped back over to him and gave him a look of concern.

"Amy, do me one more favor." Aj said to her, just barely breathing.

"Anything for you." Amy said, anxious to hear his final request.

"Go in the car and take my jacket. Take it home and keep it with you, always. I love you." With that, the EMT took him away.

As the ambulance drove away with Aj, Amy was determined to follow through with his wish. At all costs, Amy avoided the police and before she knew it, she was kneeling behind the upturned car, peering inside for his jacket. After moments of nervous searching, she finally found the jacket and fled from the scene of the crime. Aj's words echoed through her head.

"I wish Amy would be happy."
