Your POV

Granny, Old Man, Aizawa, and I went home after dinner. Tonight was the last night we would all spend together since Old Man and Granny are going home tomorrow.

I got ready for bed and jumped right in. It had been a long, stressful yet eventful day. There was a knock on my door. "Yeah, come in." Aizawa came in and took a seat on the bed. I changed my position from laying down to sitting up next to him. "Wassup, Oldie?" I asked.

"Remember that phone call I got earlier tonight?" He asked.

"Well... since you're conference children and teenagers have gone out seeking help. The number has actually skyrocketed. They need your help. It's your chance to be a hero." Aizawa told me.

A hero? "Uh... How can I help?" I asked.

"Well, there's multiple actually. The biggest way is starting your own agency for children in need of new homes and adjusting. It's a lot especially for someone so young like you so I'd help you, of course."

My brows raised, "Wow, that's... wow." I said lost for words.

"Is that something you'd want to do?" Aizawa asked.

"What!? Yes! Of course!" I couldn't contain myself. This was something I really needed. This was something my old friend, Toshihiko needed. I could actually do something good for once.

"Woah, why the tears?" I heard Aizawa say.

"Huh?" I put my hand up to my cheek and wiped the tear away. "It's nothing."

"Are you sure?"
"Yeah," I answered.

"Hey, there's something else I wanted to tell you." Aizawa said. I looked him me telling him to continue. He spoke, "You know since you and I are family now. I just wanted to talk about something... Obviously, our family isn't like most in Japan and we're both fairly new to this father, daughter thing. I just wanted you to know that no matter how bumpy things may get or how many arguments we may get into or how old either of us get or even if one day Shoto or anyone else decides that they want to be with you forever that you know I could never let go of you..."

"...I mean I couldn't even if I tried, you're like a parasite." I punched him in the shoulder after that comment. We both chuckled. He pulled me into his arms and I held onto him as well. "I know things are tough and you have a lot going on, but just remember you always have someone here in your corner." He said.

"Why couldn't you say all of this before, in front of everyone?" I asked him.

"And ruin my reputation of being a cold asshole, I think not."

"Wouldn't want people thinking you love me." I said sarcastically.

"Now you got it." He said. He removed his arms from around me. "Alright, Kiddo, you have school in the morning time for you to go to bed." He stood from my bed. He pulled my covers over me and kissed my forehead. "Good night, Chief."

"Night, Sheriff." I replied.

Aizawa POV

I stepped out of the house for a second to make a call. Mizuko picked up her phone, I knew she was on break.
