Your POV
After my conversation with Aizawa, I calm down a bit. Once I took medicine for my headache and it died down. Aizawa called Mrs. Matsu. I had to explain my whole episode and go in grave detail on what my flashback was about.
In the end, I didn't need to be sent home if and only if I was separated from the group for training. Mrs. Matsu believes seeing everyone training so intensely was my trigger since previous training sessions have never triggered any flashbacks.
So I was good to stay, but I took the whole day off. I finished both of the books I brought with me. Which caused me to spend a lot of time with Kota, Mandalay's cousin (Red Pussycat).
He didn't really talk to me. He just ignored me and played on his Switch.
"Hey, Kota, can I play with you?" I asked.
He looked up at me angrily, he's like a tiny Bakugo. "Sure." He answered and passed me a controller. We played Mario Kart together.
"You don't really like heroes, do you?" I asked him in the midst of our game.
"No, they're so pointless. All they want to do is show off." Kota replied.
He sounded like me before I warmed up to the idea of heroes. The only reason I felt that way was because of the bitterness I felt from not being saved from my father. "A few months ago, actually, I felt the same way. I'm not the one that's going to change your mind but one day you'll find your hero. I know I did. You'd be surprised, not all heroes wear capes."
"Tch, what do you know?"
"Because personally I hate being in the public eye, it enhances my anxiety. Despite that I started and am running an orphanage on my own. And I'm still just a hero in training."
"Okay, you may be the only good one and there may be a few good heroes. That doesn't mean everyone is." Kota replied. It wasn't perfect, but at least I kind of got through to him even if it was just a little.
"Fair enough." I said. "But you're still in the annoying kids group to me. Solely based on the fact that you're trash at video games."
"What you say to me!?"
"You heard me, Little Boy." I replied, smirking at him.
"I'm going to wipe that smirk off your face," Kota said, "If you win, I'll show you my secret hideout and if I win, you have to sneak me ice cream."
"Deal." I said.
~*Time Skip*~
I won the game. A deal was a deal and Kota was going to uplift it. When he stood up, his stomach started to growl.
"How about I make something to eat then we can eat at your secret hideout?" I offered.
He nodded in agreement.
Walking there would have taken forever. So instead Kota jumped on my back and I shoot us in the air using my quirk.
"C-Chizome." Kota said.
"Yeah?" I answered.
"I have a water quirk too." He admitted. His face was bright red.
