Chapter Thirty Two - Return

Shoto POV

After getting off the bus, Aizawa was trying to get us situated.

"Is that Chizome?" Shoji pointed out into the distance. That caused everyone's head to snap the way he was pointing.

Everyone was trying to focus on the figure approaching.

"Woah!" Everyone said at once to (F/n). Appearance wise, she was the same as she left the only difference was her hair. Now it was kept in a ponytail and dyed completely black.

She walked up with her suitcase containing her hero costume in her hand. She was looking around searching for us until her blood red eyes that her pure black hair now empathized even more landed on us.

From far away, especially with the same hair color and style (except neater) as her dad, (F/n) looked a lot like him.

When she finally reached us, she waved to everyone. "Hey, guys," she greeted. Everyone stood still for a while before huddling around her. I was expecting them to swarm her with questions about her time away, but they didn't. I'm guessing her speech made them understand she needed space and to keep some things private. Instead, they all complimented her on her hair.

She thanked everyone and expressed how she was happy to be back. (F/n) was definitely different than how she left, I could feel the sense of having control over her thoughts and emotions.

"Okay, okay," Aizawa said to quiet us down. "If you can pass this test and get your provisional licenses, then you novice eggs will become chicks. You'll hatch into semi-pros."

Everyone was pumped about getting their license after Mr. Aizawa's talk. When they were about to chanted "Plus Ultra!" A guy from Shiketsu High, his name was Inasa Yoarashi. He scored higher than me among the kids that got into U.A by recommendation.

Him and the other kids from Shiketsu went on their way inside. Mr. Aizawa warned us that he was the real thing.

A cheerful voice cried out, "Eraser? It's you, isn't it, Eraser!?" Ms. Joke a pro hero was approaching us. "It's been a while since I've seen you in person... Let's get married." She said once she was in front of him.

"No." Mr. Aizawa bluntly stated.

I looked over to (F/n). I thought there would be confusion written on her face instead she was completely unbothered by the scene.

"Ah, where is she?" Ms. Joke started looking around there she is. She stared at (F/n) with a smile. (F/n) blankly stared at her. "You changed your hair too! It looks great! I forgot to introduce myself! I'm Ms. Joke, a friend of your mom and Aizawa. You got this geezer to smile I'm impressed. When he got drunk at one of your moms parties, he went around forcing people to look at pictures of his daughter! It was adorable!"

Ms. Joke slightly frowned at (F/n). "Why so serious? You're just like your mom and Aizawa. No smile and have a resting straight face. Why do we try–"

Ms. Joke used her quirk on (F/n) but Aizawa erased her quirk before it could into effect. 

"Ugh, fine!" She complained at Mr. Aizawa. "If you marry me, then we can make a happy family with never-ending laughter! Mizuko can even be our kids' godmother!" Ms. Joke said. She knew (F/n)'s mom which meant she already knew about his engagement. The sole purpose for all of this is to get a laugh out of it.
