I walked through streets, picking up my dress to avoid the grime of the cobble. Out of habit, I tugged at my silk gloves as I looked around. Horses drawing carriages trotted briskly along. Sunlight was intent on covering every inch of London.

I'm tired, a dull voice grumbled in my head.

That's what happens every time we Jump, Noxa, a second voice chirped in response. You should be used to it by now.

Why're we out here again anyways? You know London like the back of your hand, (Y/N). We've literally been here a hundred times.

"Oh, just catching up with someone," I thought.

Our girl's fallen hard.

Stuff it, Luxxi. I'm gonna take a nap. Don't wake me.

I rolled my eyes before stopping in front of a shop. It was a morgue with a huge sign. 'Undertaker' was boldly displayed on it. I checked my pocket watch, glancing around the passing people and carriages. Finally, after a full five minutes of anxious waiting, a carriage pulled up by the curb and a butler opened the door for his little master. He peeked up at me suspiciously with his one exposed eye.

"What the hell are you standing around gawking for? Get moving," he said harshly.

"Young Master, you mustn't be so rude to a lady," his butler chided.

There he is! Sebastian "Dreamy-Demon" Michaelis!

What did I say about stuffing up?

I rose a hand awkwardly in a wave. "H-hi."

That was pathetic.

You can do better than that! It's not like this is your first time meeting him!

Technically, it is.

Shut it, you!

"Good day," he greeted back politely with a bow as three other people exited the carriage before the jittery driver did.

Hey, look! It's the reaper in butler's clothing!

We know.

"Um, S-Sebastian..." I coughed into a hand, recomposing myself. "Mister Sebastian Michaelis. It's a pleasure to meet you... er, again."

"Again? You know this girl?" Ciel questioned.

"I'm sorry, but I don't recognize her, Young Lord. I haven't the faintest clue who you are, which is odd considering my memory is infallible." His red eyes, though reflecting a suave look to them, hid a wary gaze.

"You wouldn't remember me. I mean, you don't know me. Yet. You wouldn't know me yet. Not here, anyways." I winced at how idiotic I sounded. "I'm sorry, let me introduce myself. I'm (Y/N). It's a pleasure to meet you, Earl Phantomhive and company." I gave a curtsy that took me over three Jumps to learn not to trip over myself. "I'd explain myself to you, but you've a very important appointment with Undertaker, I believe. Afterwards, I will thoroughly explain myself. So please just let me join you for the time being."

Ciel narrowed his eye, glancing at his butler. Sebastian offered a smile as his master sighed.

"Fine, whatever. I don't have time. Come along, Sebastian." He entered the shop with a soft twinkle of the bell.

Oh, I love the Undertaker! Luxxi voiced as I followed behind everyone else.

You love everyone. Because you literally know everyone.

While everyone was getting their soul scared out of their bodies by Undertaker, I sat on a coffin and observed the shop as always. Most everything seemed the same as always. A few things may have been missing and a few things may have been new to me. But honestly, I couldn't keep track.

"And who is this young lady?" The mortician giggled as he approached me.

I smiled at him. "Hi, Undertaker! How's business?"

He seemed surprised that I was conversing with him all nonchalantly, but he played along anyways. "Fine, fine. I've been getting more guests now that a new killer's plaguing the streets." He giggled again, turning back to the nervous group.

"Enough, Undertaker." Ciel kept glancing at me when he thought I couldn't see him. "Tell me about the victims of the new killer."

I looked to Grell and Madam Red then back to Undertaker and Ciel.

Seems like nothing new will happen this time.

Just wait. You never know!

That's what you always say. And you're only right some of the times.

I was still right, wasn't I?

I sighed, laying my chin on my hands in boredom as I recited every line everyone around me was saying. This would be a while before Ciel figured out who the killer was.
