"I still didn't tell Noah about the pregnancy scare." Quinn informed Finn over the phone the next day.

"You should." Finn advised Quinn.

"I love him and I don't wanna lose him." Quinn told Finn. "I already know he's slipping away because of the breakup and because of Dylan and-"

Quinn was cut off by the apartment doorbell.

"Speaking of Dylan." Quinn muttered as she buzzed him in. "Did Noah tell you the three of us are gonna go see Beth?"

"He didn't, but that's good." Finn noted.

"Yeah, I just hope he'll be okay." Quinn stated.

"He will be." Finn promised. "Stop worrying about him."

"You know I can't help it." Quinn responded.

"Yeah." Finn said. "I know."

"Listen, I gotta go." Quinn told Finn. "Dylan's here."

"Alright." Finn replied. "Bye, Quinn."

"Bye, Finn."

Quinn hung up her phone as she opened her apartment door to let her boyfriend in.

"Hey." Dylan smiled.

"Hi." Quinn smiled back as she kissed him. "I missed you."

"I missed you, too." Dylan replied. "How was your night?"

"Quiet." Quinn shrugged. "Uneventful. How was work?"

"Busy." Dylan answered. "I meant to call you, but I was so busy."

Quinn nodded. "It's okay. Did you get everything done?"

Dylan shook his head. "I'll probably have to work late all week."

"All week?" Quinn repeated.

"Probably." Dylan said. "But we can do something next weekend."

"Well, I'm having dinner with Shelby and Beth tonight." Quinn informed Dylan. "And Beth's father, and I really think it's time that you two meet."

"I have a lot of work to do." Dylan stated.

"Just one night." Quinn requested. "Please."

Dylan sighed. "Alright."

"Thank you." Quinn smiled as she lightly kissed Dylan. "I'm gonna shower and start getting ready."

When Quinn and Dylan were ready, they headed to Shelby's apartment.

Quinn took a deep breath as she knocked on the door.

The apartment door opened and Shelby greeted the pair. "Hi, guys. Come in."

Quinn and Dylan stepped into the apartment and looked back at Shelby as she closed the door.

"How are you doing?" Shelby asked. "Quinn, how's work?"

"It's good." Quinn answered. "I'm good. We're good. How are you?"

"Good." Shelby smiled. "It's good to see you two. I'm glad you could both make it."

"Yeah, thanks for having us." Dylan smiled back as he put his arm around Quinn.

"Dinner's ready." Shelby informed the couple. "Come into the dining room."
