On Friday afternoon, Shelby dropped Beth off at Quinn's.

"Mommy Quinn, I'm hungry." Beth complained shortly after Shelby left.

"Mommy said you just had lunch." Quinn replied.

"Can I have a snack?" Beth requested.

"Yeah, let's see what I have for you." Quinn said. "Why don't you go put your bag inside, okay?"

Beth nodded and obediently ran off.

Quinn took a deep breath as she picked up her phone to text Puck.

I have Beth for the weekend... any chance you wanna join us tomorrow?

Quinn put her phone away as Beth returned.

"Alright, you." Quinn said with a smile. "I'm gonna take you to get some food. And then we can go shopping and come back here for a movie."

"Okay!" Beth agreed.

After a day filled with shopping and food, Quinn took Beth back to her apartment.

The blondes put on pajamas while they started a movie.

Quinn grabbed her nail polish and tools and joined Beth on the couch.

"Can I do pink?" Beth wondered. "To match you?"

"You want them that light?" Quinn asked, looking at her baby pink nails.

Beth nodded.

"Okay, B." Quinn nodded back as she took Beth's left hand and started painting her nails.

The pair sat in silence for a while as Beth watched the movie while Quinn painted her nails.

"Mommy Quinn?" Beth muttered.

"Yeah, Beth?" Quinn replied as she gently took Beth's right hand and started painting her nails.

"How come Mommy didn't ask Daddy to stay with me while she's gone?" Beth wondered.

"I don't know." Quinn said. "Did you ask her?"

Beth nodded. "She said she wanted you to watch me."

Quinn nodded back.

"Can we see Daddy tomorrow?" Beth requested.

"We'll see." Quinn said. "Watch the movie, B."

"Okay." Beth said as she turned her attention back to the TV screen.
