Quinn still didn't hear from Puck in the morning, so she decided to text him again.

Y did Shelby ask u 2 babysit instead of me?

I don't know

Just come over

Quinn sighed and put her phone down as Beth walked into the living room.

"Morning." Beth muttered as she rubbed her eyes.

"Morning, little bee." Quinn smiled. "How'd you sleep?"

"Good." Beth nodded. "I'm hungry."

"Let's go grab breakfast then." Quinn said. "Go get dressed."

"Okay." Beth replied as she went back to her room.

When Quinn and Beth returned to Quinn's apartment after breakfast, they found Puck waiting in the hall with Max.

"Daddy!"

"Hi, princess." Puck smiled as he picked Beth up and looked at Quinn. "Hey, Q."

"Hi." Quinn replied, greeting Puck with a kiss on the cheek. She took her key out and unlocked the door.

After they entered the apartment, Quinn closed the door behind Max, Puck, and Beth.

"B, can you give us a minute alone please?" Puck requested as he put Beth down.

Beth frowned.

"I'm not going anywhere." Puck promised. "Go show Max your room."

"Okay." Beth nodded as she ran off. "Come on, Max."

"So how come Shelby asked you to watch Beth?" Puck blurted. "Instead of me?"

"She... she didn't say." Quinn muttered.

"Come on, Q. We don't lie to each other." Puck reminded Quinn.

"I'm sorry I've been such a bad friend lately." Quinn apologized.

Puck shook his head. "I'm sorry things are so weird between us. I have a lot of guilt over how things went down, and I needed space."

"I get it." Quinn replied. "Seeing me with Dylan must be weird for you."

"Yeah, but it's not just that." Puck said as he sat down on the couch. "Everyone's been treating me like I'm a bomb that's about to go off."

Quinn furrowed her eyebrow as she sat down beside Puck. "I'm sure they're just trying to make sure you're okay."

"The craziest part is that I'm not mad at them. I'm just mad that I can't catch a friggin' break." Puck stated.

"I've been trying to give you space because that's what Finn and Santana told me I should do." Quinn informed Puck as she put her hand on his leg. "But I want you to know that I'm here for you."

"I know." Puck nodded, putting his hand over Quinn's. "And just so you know, I never asked Finn or Santana to do that."

"I know." Quinn nodded back as Beth returned.
