When I woke up Hailey was not there. I looked around the room and did not see her anywhere. Then all of a sudden something caught my eye. A note was taped to the door. It said “Kylie, I’m going to breakfast the boys will meet me there. If you read this come join us in the lobby area restaurant. - Hailey”
I quickly got dressed and headed down to the lobby. As I walked into the restaurant I saw Carl, Chad, Hailey and Gus sitting there at a table. They had not even gotten their food yet. So I walked over and sat down at the table with them.
I said “Goodmorning”
“How are you this morning babe?” asked Chad
“Great, How are you?” I replied
“Awesome” Chad replied giving me a kiss on the cheek.
“Do you want some breakfast? We have not ordered yet.” Asked Hailey
“Yeah that would be great.” I exclaimed
We all ordered different things and the food didn’t take too long to come. When we got done eating we all went to the nearest lake for Carl’s engagement surprise. There was a small row boat waiting for Carl and Hailey.
They hopped into the boat and Chad, Gus and I just watched from the shore. We watched from the shore as Hailey noticed the bin in the boat. She opened it up and a huge smile spread across her face. She lifted a little dalmatian puppy out of the bin.
While Hailey was focusing on the puppy, Carl pulled out a ring box. Hailey looked at the dog tag. On the dog tag it said “Will you marry me?”
Hailey shouted so loudly we could hear her from the shore line. “Yes!!!!!!! I will marry you! I love you!”
“I love you too! I dont want to spend my life with anybody else. You are all I ever wanted.” Carl replied and he gently placed the ring on Hailey’s finger.
Hailey and Carl shared a romantic kiss as a few big fireworks went off in the background. Hailey quickly looked to see them. A gigantic look of joy on her face. Carl wrapped his arms around Hailey and she rested her head on his shoulder, while cuddling the puppy in her arms.
After that happened Chad, Gus and I decided to go for a horseback ride.
