    oscar was out back fixing his car when he heard the back door open. instantly pulled out hsi gun and had it pointed towards the noise. seeing it was jose he put the gun down. " spooky prophets have been rolling up on people from our hood." " damn i mean they been doing that shit a lot lately, not much we can do. don't want to start some shit over them flashing cheap guns they don't even know how to use" he went back to fixing his car and stealing a glance at jose who looked conflicted. "yeah but what about the kids oscar" jose was on the verge of breaking a promise "jose, look we're doing the best we can and with this truce, i'm not going to start shit up first. so just drop it i'll go around and give reassurance to keep them as safe as i can" oscar was getting slightly annoyed at this point "matias and athena got rolled up on the a week ago" jose rushes out quickly, oscar put the wrench down and exhaled loudly. "quit being stupid and just say it louder jose im busy" jose could hear how annoyed he was and took a deep breath. he knew the truce was about to end and everything was about to turn around. " matias and athena got rolled up on by some prophets, and im not talking about just conversation, fool pulled out a gun while she was carrying matias. found out this morning while making the drop. sammy made me promise not to say but that our baby fool." jose said a tad slower and taking a seat on a random crate oscar had.

as soon as those word fell from jose's lips oscar froze. those damn prophets don't have any respect. how could they roll up on someone with a baby in their arms. oscar wanted to act out in anger, he wanted to go and shoot every single one of those dirty prophets. he remember that sammy had told jose to keep his mouth shut. "imma handle this, jose call a meeting at 9. this shit gets fixed today." with that oscar walked back into his house.

oscar had a lot on his plate. having to protect the hood, kicking cesar out of his house and having to act like he doesn't care where he is. and now having to make a hard decision if this whole roll up situation should be left alone or should be dealt with. cesar was oscars voice of reason at times, he always lead him into making less dangerous choices. oscar wanted nothing more than to have cesar back home. but with cuchillos and all the heavy hitters of los santos being against cesar he knew it was impossible. loyalty is everything. cesar wasn't loyal and he was a liar. he made oscar look weak, like a bitch who doesn't know when his own men are lying to him.

growing up oscar saw how you have to be more loyal to your gang than family. non blood families loyalty runs thicker than blood. again, through the years oscar saw this first hand. oscar felt he had failed at raising cesar right. the more he thought about it the more he felt guilty for potentially ruining his life. those thoughts were clouded with his own experience with his father. oscar hated violence, he cried at the thought of having to end someone's life. oscar was also forced to kill someone. he knew it needed to be done and he did it. he couldn't fully understand why cesar did just do it. and his stupid girlfriend isn't making it any better. cesar spared someone's life that didn't hesitate to kill the love of his friends life and almost kill his best friend.

oscar debated on calling cuchillos about the roll up on a mother with her child. los santos had a rule about mothers and children. oscar put so much thought into what his call was going to be. smoking a blunt and rubbing his face in frustration. if they don't act now the town will claim they don't feel safe and start hating them even more. if he acts on it the truce is over and things could go worse than they planned. he also knew how angry his men would be when they hear that he wasn't going to do anything, especially with it being athena and matias. in other circumstances oscar would leave roll ups alone. they were messages to him but he knew they were bluffs. but it being athena changed everything.

sammy had told jose to keep it a secret and obviously he didn't. oscar was going to think of a smooth way to bring it up without exposing jose. and it would be up to sammy to speak up of it was athena or not. the only thing oscar was sure of was that this will NEVER happen again, especially to athena or matias.
