oscar was tired of hearing about the house on 7th street. as if the freeridge wasn't in the middle of a gang war, as if they shouldn't be more worried about their children, but the focus was on the house at the end of the street. he couldn't wrap his head around how a person who doesn't associate with the town is so bad, frightening even. he just didn't get it and the more and more people came to him to fix it, the more it irritated him, he has bigger things to worry about than a girl who thinks she's better than everyone by not stepping a foot outside and only going into her fancy ass car. which a lot of his homies wonder how a girl who doesn't leave her house can afford a car like that. oscar never paid much attention to the rumors but he'd be lying if he said he never got curious to know who the girl is.
oscar was furious at cesar and his stupid friends for knowing how dangerous the streets were, especially for them. the whole damn town knew cesar was a santo and everyone knew his who his close friends were, putting them even more in danger. he overheard the town gossipers at the corner store talking about how ruby passed their house around 2 am but didn't see him walk back and were concerned. as he heard those word come out of their mouth oscar debated if he should believe it or not, but the concern in their voice when they said they didn't see him walk back made him believe them. he quickly pulled out his phone to call his younger brother, the phone rang almost sending it to voicemail, only annoying him even more. "what's up oscar?" his brother said in a calm yet shaky voice, only making oscar roll his eyes knowing cesar was nervous about running for them. " tell your dumb friends to stop walking in the middle of the night" with that being said he hung up the phone and rub his face, thinking about a plan to tell his homies to keep an eye out for the four kids.
as oscar walked back to his car and picked his head up as he heard a car door slam shut. oscar followed the noise to the white bmw across the street and mentally bitched himself for not looking up sooner, he missed the girl by literally a second. he looked around and saw no one else was outside. he sat in his impala knowing the car would pass by, he waited a good five minutes and noticed the mysterious girl let her car warm up before talking off and made him smile knowing she at least knew the damage it would do to her car if she took off with it being cold. oscar tried to keep it lowkey that he was staring at the vehicle but as the car passed he paid full attention to see is he could catch a glimpse. the blacked out windows didn't allow him to see more than her figure, which annoyed him. he could also make out something in the backseat but he couldn't quite determine what it was. looking down at the time he started to wonder where she was off to at 8 pm, everyone knew that after 7 it wasn't safe to be out anymore.
most of the gang was hanging out in front of his lawn, per usual. oscar wasn't paying much attention to the conversation that carried out around him, he was trying to figure out how he was going to protect his own, the block and cesar's friends. he took the perfectly rolled blunt from behind his ear and instantly lit it, taking a long drag. letting the drugs calm his hectic mind. " aye homie i saw that hyna from 7th street this morning" one of los santos members said to sad eyes, this instantly made everyone shut up and ask questions, even oscar took his head out of his little world and listened but choose to not say anything. " man to be honest i just saw exactly what the block has been seeing since she moved here-" oscar then wondered how long this girl has been living in his hood, " she was wearing sweats and a cropped shirt and those fucking big ass sunglasses" the gangs attention span thinned out, knowing it's always the same thing when she was seen. everyone carried on the conversation they had previous to his comment but was soon stopped as the words no one thought he would say, " she had a baby in a car seat".
