Y/N took a look at Harry and then to the fabric in his hands one more time. He seemed to be deep in thought, as if he was planning. His eyes were trained on the relentless mob as he popped his head around the corner they were hiding in.

"So what exactly were we going to do?" She asks him, reminding him of her presence.

Harry's mouth opens as if he was going to answer and closes again. She was dreading the plan he had in mind even before he actually laid it out.

"You see this?" He raised the fabric for her to see. The dark fabric in his hands moved like liquid as he shifted it around. One moment his hand was there, and the next it was gone, vanishing into thin air.

But when she observed closely, she could see a faint glimmer of quite powerful magic. "An invisibility cloak." She thought aloud.

Harry nodded in response to this before speaking. "So basically, the plan is to just–"

"Go through the crowd." She had hoped that Harry was going to say that she was mistaken. But instead, Harry threw the cloak over his and her head before she could even protest.

"Right then, shall we?"

They trudged back down the hall to where they came from, slowly approaching the hostile crowd with caution even when unseen. Harry motioned for her to stay behind him and she unhappily obliged. Glancing back at his companion one more time, he gave her a look to ask if she was ready.

As if they had any other choice.

Harry pushed witches and wizards aside as he shouldered their way through the belligerent sea of angry people. It was easy getting through without being detected, the difficult thing was keeping Y/N with him. He lost her midway through the crowd. A witch had elbowed her right in the stomach, making her stagger back in pain.

She glared at the clueless witch and only when the gesture was returned that she realized she wasn't invisible anymore.

Harry was panicking as he couldn't find her face anywhere. He cussed and shoved each person that blocked his way, looking for Y/N in the chaotic mess.

The atmosphere was even more volatile and the people were starting to get violent as they began to pick a fight with one another. That was when she saw a lone hand in between all the commotion. It pushed it's way through the crowd as if it has already caught sight of her. She reached for it and was pulled under the cloak at once. Her legs were shaking but she managed a small smile and thanked him.

They now continued to elbow and punch their way through, allowing themselves to get physical along with the raging crowd. With a difficulty, they finally reached the very front of the audience and found themselves with an even bigger problem.

"Aurors." Harry whispered to her who was now stationed in front of him.

They studied the barrier of magic that stood between them and the several aurors that were there. He didn't think this part through and now they were stuck in between hostile territories because of it.
Y/N swallowed hard and whipped out her wand, asking Harry to do the same. "Okay, follow my lead."

He watched as she sent silent stunning spells from left to right, making him follow with some reluctance. Once the witch or wizard has fallen over, a series of gasps followed. The fighting ceased for a moment as the people closed in to inspect what just happened. They slowly backed away, thinking that the aurors have finally decided to use force.

The aurors themselves were astounded. Not sure of who among the crowd had the courage to do such a thing in their presence.

The shield that separated them from the court room had faltered for a moment. Y/N wasted no time and pulled Harry through it, stumbling onto the other side of the enchanted barrier. She let loose a sigh of relief and pocketed her wand. The sound made the aurors who were guarding the doors look their way. The breaths they were holding together under the cloak seemed to be on the verge of breaking. To no avail, the aurors resumed their stations in blocking the entrance.

Y/N cussed under her breath, she could hear the heavy thump of her heart as they walked to the doors of the court room. Harry was looking for another way in, they were so close, they can't turn away now. He pulled out his wand and instructed her to do the same.

"On the count of three. One, two, three!" They simultaneously hit the aurors with Confunding charms. Y/N unlocked the door with a swish and flick of her hand and he wrapped his fingers around her wrist, pulling her through the door.

"Your mum saved Harry Potter... do you know why?"

The words travelled from afar, reaching them at the door. The tension in the room was palpable as they entered the threshold once again, still veiled under Harry's cloak of invisibility. Harry saw his arch nemesis, who was now free from the cage that confined him. Kingsley had agreed to look further into the evidence he presented to him. The particular memory of Narcissa Malfoy, begging her husband not to follow through with Voldemort's order.

She cried the entire evening before, pleading to replace her son instead. But Lucius was afraid of defying Voldemort's request, so he ignored the pleas of his wife. The morning after Draco's initiation, where he acquired his Dark Mark was where Bellatrix Lestrange's memory began. It showed her sealing the Unbreakable Vow between her sister and Severus Snape, wherein he accedes to help Draco with his impossible task.

Snape's memory begins with a conversation shared with the late headmaster of Hogwarts, Dumbledore. Showing that he was ordered by Dumbledore himself to be the one to kill him in order to gain Voldemort's trust. It follows with several arguments with Draco himself where Snape asks the boy to let him be of help, but Draco refuses profusely and proceeds to accomplish his task single-handedly.

The memory ends on the night where Snape was set to fulfill his promise to Narcissa and Dumbledore. Death-Eaters had infiltrated the school with Draco's help and they were now on the Astronomy tower. Snape was summoned by Dumbledore and he knew that the deed had to be done.

The memory that he didn't give Kingsley was of his own. But now going over his own trials and tribulations, he knew that he owed it to Narcissa to free her son from damnation. That's what Dumbledore and Snape would have wanted.

"Because of you Draco, it was because of You." The words tumbled out before he could stop them. The people in the room looked towards the door where his voice came from. Harry had completely forgotten that they were invisible. Y/N tugged at the fabric, revealing themselves to the jury and the Prime Minister.

Y/N was back and that made Draco glad but mostly confused as to why she was with Harry Potter. Draco didn't know if it was because of the lack of sleep or hunger but he was very sure that this was te work of his imagination. The words were perfectly on cue as the darkness slowly creeped from the corners of his eyes.

Harry couldn't imagine, even in a thousand years that he would say these words to Draco Malfoy. But they needed to know that he was innocent, and Harry knew how it felt to be wrongly persecuted for something you didn't want to do.

"You saved me without knowing it." Harry said, his voice almost a whisper carried in the wind and an echo in the dark as Draco's vision faded into black.
