Lumos
•~•~•~•~•Walking down the flight of stairs, Y/N kept fiddling with her bag which happened to be full of unfinished homework, not hers ofcourse. It would've been easier if she copied her own answers but she couldn't risk getting caught and all. She reviewed the pages once more before stuffing it back in her bag which didn't need any more books.
Not long after taking the last step, her bag's strap had gave away. Y/N tries to catch it, dropping the books she was already holding in the process. Now all of her things were on the floor, just her luck when the staircase chose to shift and it crosses her path with Harry Potter.
"Oh, hi Y/N," Harry greeted enthusiastically which caught her by surprise. "Hello to you too Harry." She replied, momentarily managing a smile before remembering the situation at hand.
Without asking, he started picking up her fallen things as well which alarmed Y/N because he might see to whom those books really belong to. "Thank you, for helping me by the way." She said, catching his attention as he attempted to read one, his eyes seemed to grow greener as he looked at her.
"Not a problem, let me help you with these." He said, gesturing to the handful of books who were really not hers.
"Oh you don't have to, I can handle it really." She said, hoping he can't see her anxiousness. "I'll help you handle it then, where are you headed to?" He countered which annoyed yet relieved Y/N's nerves at the same time.
If this was Harry Potter then why would Draco be so mad at him?
"The library, I need to return some books I borrowed for the Potions homework which are overdue." She said, pointing to the books in Harry's hands.
"Slughorn huh? Pretty tough on you isn't he?" He said jokingly as he read the cover.
"Slughorn is tough on everyone who's not a pureblood." She huffed, making the boy smile.
"Right you are, so shall we?" Harry asked, making way for her like a gentleman would. Suppressing the urge to laugh, she tried to keep a neutral face.
"We shall."

The walk to the library was eventful since Peeves got in their way, luckily Harry was clever enough and he managed to make him bugger off. Harry was almost finished telling her the story of how Voldemort killed his parents when they finally reached the library.
"So You Know Who tried to kill you, after killing your mum and then he failed?" Y/N asked, already feeling sorry for him.
"A shame really," He confirmed as they approached the counter. "And it's Voldemort you know. He has a name." He said in a matter-of-factly tone, "Fear of the name — "
"Oh I know, I know. You've said that a hundred times already." Y/N whispered because Ms. Pince was giving them a warning look. After returning the books and getting a scolding for tardiness, she was now unfortunately banned from borrowing books.
Y/N settled in an unoccupied table facing the doorway with a scowl on her face. Harry stayed behind and talked to the librarian with a series of nods and sighs. When he walked up to where she was seated and sat down next to her, the anxious feeling had returned.
