My Enemy's Sister
•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•"This isn't possible, it just can't be!Merlin forbid this is worse than that Weasel girl having a crush on Potter! Am I going crazy? Maybe she spiked my pumpkin juice when I wasn't looking. No, no their table is across the Great Hall it's just absurd. But maybe she ordered someone in my house! Yes, that's it!"
"Uh..." I snapped my head in Goyle's direction who sounded like he wanted to inquire something.
"Yes?"
"Gryffindors and Slytherins can't be friends right?" He asked like it was one of the 7 wonders of the Wizarding World.
"Dammit Goyle! What other explanation can there be for this weird sensation I'm feeling?!" I shouted at him, making him shrink back in his seat.
Crabbe raised his hand, asking for permission to talk. I nodded in response as I continued to pace around the empty common room.
"Maybe you just like her."I stopped dead in my tracks.
"Are you daft? Maybe you're the one going insane here!"They both shut their mouths and remained silent. Buffoons, I don't even want to see that girl's stupid face.
But what if I really do like her?
I am going insane.
I wedged myself between the two large oafs, and they scrambled away to make more space for me. Burying my face in my hands, I grumbled into them, "What if I say that I actually do like her?" The words came out muffled but to my surprise they heard me, crystal clear.
"It's quite alright I guess, but what do we do then?" Crabbe asked.
"What do you mean?" I look up from my hands, making him squirm in his place.
"Like your plan, how we're going to make her like you back." Goyle explained which made my insides twist. This is complete insanity. Slytherins and Gryffindors just don't get along and the fact that she's Harry Potter's sister just makes it the fucking cherry on top.
"Well we don't have one because we don't need one."
"But you just said–"
"I know what I said, did you not hear me saying what if ?" I hissed turning away from them to hide the bloody blush that crept up my face. They both looked at each other and shook their heads.
"She's a disgrace! Just like her perfect brother, that's what I said." I grumbled and stood up to walk into my dorm. Slamming the door shut, I lean my back against it and slid to a sitting position on the marble floor.
What am I going to do?
I should avoid that girl for good measures.
Naturally, I had trouble sleeping that night, again. Tossing and turning in my covers to find a comfortable posituon. I just couldn't bring myself to rest so I looked up at the canopy and contemplated the reasons on why I don't like her.
First thing's first, she's in Gryffindor...
So what? Even if there is prejudice between both houses you can still be friends, or more.
