Chapter 33 - Scandalous Event

I stretched my hands as I scanned the crowd. She's not here yet. I found my members lumped around the living room earlier, except jimin and namjoon. I asked them what were they fussing about. They looked at each other and casually said YG's new it girl is married and she will be the mc for today's ISAC event.

I raised my brows at the two. They usually check out new girls too maybe it's because she's already married.

"Let me see." I chuckled and tiptoed around the maknaes.

"Hyung, are you sure you don't have a long lost sister?" I hear hoseok ask

"I should ask my parents." I chuckled at his response and snatched the phone from jungkook's grasp

"Let's see who--" I was shocked to say the least. I put the phone nearer to my face and it really is jisoo! My childhood friend. Jennie's best friend.

"What's with the reaction? You smitten?" Jin asked, snatching the phone back.

"I know her." They all turned to me

"I think I saw her somewhere too..." taehyung scratched his chin

"Ah! In the amusement park!" He danced a little, happy that he remembered.

"You went to the amusement park? When?" Who was he with? Was he on a date?

"Ahahaha, he meant the ad for the amusement park!" Jimin answered for him while he put taehyung in a head lock.

"Round up! Let's go!" Namjoon clapped his hands and we got ready for the event.

I found her going near the stage as the event was about to start. I quickly shuffled my feet to get there. My members followed me.

"Jichu!" I called out to her. That's what jennie and I used to call her.

"Don't call me that!" I did not expect to meet her glare. She's scary when she needs to be.

"Ohoyy~ now you're miss korea, you don't remember me?" I teased. But she didn't smile. Jimin tugged on my shirt but I ignored it.

"What did you do to my Bestfriend?" I froze at her question.

"What do you mean?" My brows furrowed. She smiled, and went near me.

"All I know is you both wanted to be an idol and she's not here or anywhere. You're the only who have the power for her not to achieve that." She kept smiling as she talked but her tone is laced with acid. She tugged on my collar that could've made me stumble if I didn't hold my ground.

"What would I have done to do that?" I also smiled at her but I'm controlling myself not to yell at her. This was not the reunion I was expecting.

"I don't know. You tell me." She tapped on my chest lightly and walked away. I was about to pull her back but the event is starting. Making us fall in line to our places.

When the game started, I wasn't able to talk to jisoo. I needed to focus. We had a hard time dealing with got7 and iKON. Got7's jinyoung has been pinning on me. What's his problem?

We're playing soccer and I accidentally not, hit iKON's leader on the face.

"Sorry." Not sorry. He said he was okay and was cheerful. My blood boiled. Atleast be a jerk so I can hit you more.

"Yoongi." Namjoon warned

"I know." I huffed and promised to play fair. I kept my eyes locked on my target.

I tilted my head when I observed him pouting over to jinyoung. I scratched my head as I continued to watch b.i., he seems to be picking a fight with jinyoung.

Do they know each other? Their members are helping each other to prevent a bloodbath between the two.

Everyone was called to gather at the center again for the closing ceremony. Got7 was placed further to the right, away from iKON who was next to us. I was too busy finding a chance to talk to jisoo.

"Jisoo. Do you know where jennie is?" I pulled her aside as soon as I spotted her. My members formed a circle around us and kept guard for cameras

"How should I know? I haven't seen her for years!" Right. We haven't seen her since she transferred schools

"Please. I just want to talk to her one last time. I just want answers." But I know how close they are. And by the way she approached me, I just know she knows something.

"What answers?" Before I can replyn she was already caed back to the stage and we formed our lines.

"What did you talk about?" I looked away from the stage and face b.i. who was standing beside me. I itched to punch the guy.

"Nothing that concerns you." I'm not in the mood to play nice

"She's my muse. I'm one of the guys patiently waiting for her divorce. " my brows creased. Bobby smacked the back his head.

"Stop spouting nonsensical things that could harm you." He pouted. This guy's really a leader?

"If my jisoo gets divorced, she'll be hurt since she loved the guy. She wouldn't get married if she didn't. I'll be there to console her." Jinhwan rolled his eyes and their maknes just shook their head in secondhand embarassment

"What? Does jennie know about this?" He stilled. His members looked at me too.

"Hyung." Jimin held my shoulders when my fist clenched

"Jennie. You know her real name." He slowly turned and looked at me.

"Real name?" What is he talking about? He inched closer. He was squaring me up and I held my ground. He's just taller than me, it doesn't mean he's stronger. He carefully observed me from head to foot. Our members are now surrounding us. The crowd and the other idols attention was on the stage.

"We are hear to congratulate you! Everyone! Let's all cheer for kim jisoo-ssi! She's currently pregnant with her firstborn." The tension between B.I. and I ceased as we stared at the picture shown at the huge screen. Solid proof of jisoo's pregnancy. She was with jennie.

"Jisoo!" I yelled and tried to go to her when someone pulled me.

"You know jennie." It was a statement. iKON's leader's jaw clenched and his fist balled. I did the same. How dare he glare at me. He was the one who stole my woman!

"Ha!" It was as if realization dawned on him. I notced everyone getting silent. Was it us? Or jisoo? I don't know.

"Rapper. Composer. Producer." He nodded as he said those. Like checking a checklist. His members who was stopping him from coming near me let him go and equally glared at me too. What's with the look?

Everything went chaotic! We were instructed to go back to the artists area but iKON and my members held our ground.

"She was mine first!" I angrily shouted at the same time he yelled

"You're the jerk who almost killed my sister!" I was confused and he took the chance to land a blow on my face. My anger got the best of me and soon a brawl broke. 7 vs. 7. His members protecting him, my members protecting me. Although I see taehyung and chanwoo just talking and having a shocked look at each other.

"IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO MY WIFE AND CHILD I'M GONNA KILL YOU ALL!" everyone and I mean every single one froze at that chilling scream.

We turned and as if in slow motion, we saw jisoo collapse in front of our eyes. B.I and my instinct kicked in, differences aside, we pushed out the reporters as we catch her before she hits the ground.
