I woke up Saturday morning, showered and ate breakfast, but my mind was on Seth. That kiss was beyond anything I'd ever experienced, and it left me wanting more. I was hoping he'd show up before Sophie and her mom picked me up, but he didn't.

They pulled into the driveway at 7:00 a.m. sharp, just as she said she would. Grams was at the door to see me off.

"Have a good time sweetheart."

"I will Grams, I'll miss you," I slid my feet into my canvas slip on sneakers, then threw on my green, army style jacket.

"Oh, you'll be having too much fun to think about me," she joked.

"Never. I'll bring you something from the terminal gift shop," I gave Grams a hug and kissed her soft cheek, then threw my duffel bag over my shoulders. Sophie was waiting by the open trunk of her mother's Murano.

"Ready to roll?" Sophie asked as I handed her my bag, which she threw in the trunk.

"Of course." I jumped in the back seat with Calli and Sophie hopped in front with her mom.

"Hey Abb," Calli yawned. Her beautiful blonde hair was always flawless, no matter how she styled it. Today, she had it in a side braid.

"Hey Calli, did you see Seth this morning?"

"No, why do you ask?"

"Well, he left in a hurry last night, and I thought maybe you'd seen him."

"No, haven't seen him since school yesterday. His car wasn't home this morning."

"Oh, o.k." I was even more confused now. Where the hell did he go last night? I tried to put my concerns aside, because I wanted to enjoy our girls' weekend without distraction. It wasn't going to be hard because the girls kept my mind busy with their craziness.
For the first three hours, Sophie's mom, Eileen, was playing her music from the 80's.

"Mom, can we please play our music now?" Sophie asked.

"Why, what's wrong with this music? It's timeless."

"Yeah, timeless crap," Sophie chuckled.

"They don't make music like they used to Sophie, that's why all your bands are doing remakes of older stuff."

"That's because they see there's room for improvement. Please? We've been tolerating it long enough."

"Oh, alright, what do you want to listen to?" She turned the volume down, silencing the voice, singing about pouring some sugar on him.

"Are you seriously asking that mom? Glorious Squalor, the band you got us tickets for, obviously."

"Music for the 80's isn't that bad. I actually kind if like it," Calli piped up.

"Yeah, well, not today Calli. It only makes sense to listen to the band were going to see.," Soohie furrowed her brow.

"Calli understood music selection wasn't up for debate."Yeah, it does make sense,"she chuckled awkwardly.

"Let's stop for gas and a pee break first." Eileen said, as she pulled into a gas station with a little store off to the side.
