6.Chapter: Working date & no date

Barry's pov

Back at Star Labs I went directly to Caitlin.

,,You remeber, I offered you to help you with the serum? Do you have time this evening?"

,,Yes why not. therefore I could make a break in the afternoon" Caitlin answered, while comparing two samples. She seemed a little bit busy.

,,Okay nice, but only in case you really can. I don't want to steal you the evening" I added.

,,No, I have nothing to do in the evenings and I know, that you want to get ready with the Cicada operation and at the days you have to save the city" She finally looked up from her work.

Right at that Moment the alarm went off.
,,See" she smiled and I just smiled back, ran out of the lab, took my suit and Cisco told me through the headset what happened.

Caitlin's pov

So because of working with Barry in the evening, I was glad to get a break in the afternoon. Nobody needed me now, and I just had to clean up my house, go to the supermarket and maybe sleep a little bit. While I put on my jacket Ralph entered the cortex.

,,Hey Caitlin" he just said and than he was standing in the room doing nothing, that was weird.

,,Hey Ralph" I gave back, while raising my eyebrows ,,...and bye Ralph" I added, because he was still in silence.

,,Wait...actually.... I wanted to ask you, if you want to go to the disco with me tonight?" he said shyly.
Well, that was a new side of Ralph, but sorry I had no need for going to a disco with Ralph, thank god Barry asked me to work on the serum.

,,I am Sorry, but I have no time, I have an appointment to work on the serum" I said.
,,Oh okay.... than... maybe next time..."
he said sounding dissapointed, but it's Ralph he would get over it and find someone else to go with.
,,Yeah, I have to go now, see y
ou" I said quickly and went outside.
