Caroline was awaken by the door bell. She looked at the clock and it was 6:55. Five minutes before her alarm was to sound good morning. She put her morning robe on and just ran with her hand through her hair to straighten it up a bit. She thought that it was one of her excentric neighbours so she opened the door -

"Miss Talbot... it's"- she said and seeing that it wasn't her neighbour exclaimed surprised-" ...Klaus...??"

"Good morning...special delivery...-"he said, and before she knew what was happening he passed on a small bunch of field flowers from the beach house.

She was speechless. So far it was grand gifts, extravagant invitations, finally he realized that maybe less was more.

"I know your message said that my gifts and me should leave you alone... and I will...but I had to see it in your eyes- if you have fallen out of love with me and fallen for him... then I will stop fighting for this love -"

She looked at him and she knew now that he meant it, then she looked at the bunch of flowers in her hands and then at him again.

"I get..."-he said. And he was about to step out of the apartmen, she took him by the hand -

"Klaus! -Wait..."

Her eyes watered overwehlmed with emotions.

"I am scared..."-she uttered clumsily.

"Scared...of what? Caroline?"-he now took hold of her hands.

"You...me...all...HUH... what if it all just blows ... nothing amazing really lasts..."-she now voiced her fear, and it was clear to him why she kept pushing him away and continued sleeping with Enzo, although she wasn't in love with him. She may have been a shark in the court room, but when it came to her own life she would make the worst decisions. 

"You and me...are not so different... running away... crazy, ha? I have stopped...I am here now... to stay!"

She now placed a kiss on his lips, her hand sliding up his neck to pull him closer for a perfect fit.

She ever only wanted him. She didn't care if she would be late for work. She now led him to her bedroom.

Elena was awaken by a kiss and she smiled before she opened her eyes.

"I am glad you stayed"- he whispered.

"You are so persuasive...there's no negotiating with you even if I wanted to"- she said cheekily.

His beeper went and he now went to look what it was so early in the morning, although he had a very prominent patient and told the hospital that he should be update if something unusual occurs.

"Have to run I am afraid.."- he said and kissed her before he disappeared in the bathroom for a quick shower.

Elena now got up as well. She got dressed and was somewhat glad that she would be skipping breakfast with Esther. She texted Rebekah letting her know that she would leave with Elijah.

She then looked at the booking information. Ixtapa. She thought of all the fresh food and produce. Of the beaches. She had dreamt about going to Mexico one day, she dreamt about so much and it looked like dreams were becoming real.

He got out of the bathroom, and told her that she can take the shower if she wanted, he went into the adjecent walking wardrobe to get dressed. She then followed him in there.

"Lagoon suite...700-900 m2...a private terrace with intimate, outdoor 'infinity-edge' plunge pool and lagoon view..."- Elena read out.

"Yes... it sounded so good...and we need time alone...away from it all!"- he said.

"We do!"- she said.

He now gave her a peck and then said "You deserve the best!"

She smiled a little and cursed herself for being so bitchy lately. They left the Mansion together.

Rebekah had breakfast with Henrik, Charley and Esther, who had enquired about Klaus, Elijah and Elena. Rebekah could only excuse Elena and Elijah, and thought of Klaus hoping he managed to get Caroline's cold defences down.

Her phone buzzed and she had to leave.

After Damon's death she struggled to find a photographer that was nearly as good. She didn't want just anyone and finally after weeks of relentless persuasion she managed to get one of the best in the businness.

"Michael Holt..."-she said as she got to her office.

"Rebekah Mikaelson ... it is a pleasure to meet you."-he said shaking her hand.

"The pleasure is mine... I know you hated leaving London...but...life is pretty exciting here too."

"I guess when you want something you don't give up, do you?!"-he said.

"Right... well...shall we get down to business... I persume you are happy with the contract?!"

"Very..."-he said and they now discussed the layout, and Rebekah explained what she wanted.

Elena got to work and straight away called Nina, her business partner, to sit down and discuss changes in the schedule for the coming weekend.

"I am so sorry that it is just so like on a drop of a hat..."- Elena said- "I know I will be owing you forever for this..."

Nina now stopped her - "Elena...you've already made me a partner...plus...if only I had a tall double whipped and ripped moccaccino boyfriend to go away with it... I would tell you to hold the fort here in a heartbeat"

Elena smiled at the description-"We will find you one..."

"I wish...anyway...don't come back without the good tequila and Galletas de Calaveras."

"Oh... we should have done them for Halloween...well, next year... why didn't I think of them..."

"We did pumpkin cookies...so...next year will do the mexican Halloween stuff."- Nina said- "now tell me where he is taking you."

Elena then found on the net the hotel and the place where they would be staying.

 Sometime before sunset, Caroline and Klaus decided to finally get out of bed and go for something to eat. As she wanted to get out of the bed, he gently took hold of her hand to stop her from getting up.

"Now serioulsy... I am hungry...need to order some food"

"One more kiss and I will let you go"- he teased.

"One more"- she leaned over to him and placed a kiss on his lips. It didn't look like they would be getting out of the bed anytime soon.
