"thank you." she smiled sweetly at the cashier, making her giggle like any typical girl.

after a long day of treating patients' teeth, lisa decided to go to mcdonalds and have chicken nuggets and fries for dinner. she looked around, finding a vacant table but like usual, all the tables were occupied by groups of friends, families, couples, and single humans. her eyes landed on a table for two at the back corner beside the window, occupied by a girl covering her face with her palms. 'a crying girl.' she thought and smiled a little.

lisa neared her and took a seat across her, setting her tray on the table. the girl peeked from the space between her two fingers, lisa smiled and winked at her. the girl removed her hands off her face and wiped her tears then looked at the stranger across her with a frown.

"who the hell are you?"

"name's lisa. no table's vacant and since you re alone, why not sit with you. what s your name tho?" lisa said and stabbed a nugget with her fork, dipping in barbeque sauce then taking a bite of it.

 "jennie." she softly answered.

lisa noticed tha jennie was just watching her the whole time with an unexplainable facial expression. she thought, 'she watchin food asmr righ now keke.'

"not to be nosy or what, but why re you crying?" lisa asked her while she was staring out the window, drowning herself with her thoughts.

"h-huh?" she looked at lisa with a surprised look and wiped her tears before they even fall. lisa repeated her question and patiently waited for her to answer but she just kept quiet. i mean who wouldn t? a stranger asking a personal question?

"trust me. i can help you." lisa gave her an assuring smile. and jennie, being the girl who trusts easily, started telling everything to her.

starting from meeting this new girl in their missionary team to how she liked her a lot that it hurt. lisa listened attentively while eating her fries to jennie explaining everything emotionally.

"okay wait." jennie stood up and went to the counter. lisa s eyes followed her and she observed every part of her body.

'i like her ass.' she thought after examining her whole body. she sat up properly when jennie came back with her fourth chocolate fudge sundae. lisa smiled at her as jennie started to continue ranting.

"is she single?" lisa asked after she swallowed the last two fries.

"yes." jennie answered after pulling the spoon out her mouth.

"are y'all friends? like do yall talk?"

"no." jennie sadly answered and played with her sundae.

"why?"

"i m not good at social interacting okay?"

"hmm, why not do the first move already?"

"oh right why didn t i think of that?-- because i m a goddamn coward and again, i m not good at social interacting." lisa raised her eyebrows in amusement when jennie s tone and facial expression changed in just a snap.

"well okay if you don t wanna be too fast, start with the low stage. also, i ll give you tips in social interacting." lisa said simply.

"oh cool. and what do you mean 'start with the low stage'?"

"friends."

"lisa!" lisa immediately looked at the person who called her, she smiled when jennie was smiling while raising her hand.

"hi." lisa said as she sat on the chair and put her tray on the table.

"thas your dinner again?" jennie said, amused, while looking at her order. chicken nuggets and fries. again.
