"HI, BABYY!!!!" Lisa squealed as soon as the door opened. Jennie, who was the one who opened, jumped out of surprise.
"H-hey." Jennie breathed out as Lisa attacked her to a tight hug.
"I MISSED YOU SOOO MUCH!" Lisa said cutely, still not letting her girlfriend go. They literally just met an hour ago but here she is, suffocating her with a hug as if they haven't seen each other for years.
"I-I missed you too but c-can you let go of me now?" Lisa immediately let her go and gave her an apologetic look, which made Jennie's heart swell at the adorable sight.
"Do you wanna go to the movies? I heard that your favorite boy group's movie is now showing." The blonde suggested. Even though she always gets jealous everytime Jennie fangirls over them, she's still willing to take her to the movies to watch their movie. Just for the girl she loves so much.
"No, it's okay. Let's just stay here at home." Jennie gave her a small smile and pulled her hand to really go inside.
"It's a good thing that we stayed at home instead. I think there's a storm coming." Lisa said while hugging Jennie from behind and staring out the window. Jennie didn't respond as she was busy having deep thoughts again while her eyes are stuck outside too.
Like the usual, they spent the night cuddling on the couch while watching their favorite movies together.
"Oh deym." Jennie looked at Lisa who quietly cursed while staring at her phone.
"I'm sorry baby but I have to go now. You know, thesis shits." Lisa said as she stood up from the couch, stretching her arms for a while. Jennie sadly watched as Lisa took her stuff.
The rain finally stopped so of course, Lisa's safe to drive.
"I'll go now okay? I love you." Lisa gave her a peck on the lips before turning her back to the door.
'Stay. Don't leave me.'
Jennie badly wanted to say that but nothing came out except for an 'okay'.
As Lisa stepped the brake, she suddenly felt an unusual feeling. The house looked gloomy. It looked so dead.
After parking her car properly and making sure it's locked, she ran to the front door, knocking it loudly like usual.
Nothing.
She had been knocking how many times now that her knuckles started to hurt a bit but still, no response.
Lisa wondered where's Jennie. She knows her schedule. She knows that at this hour, Jennie's only at home, watching Netflix or sleeping. She can't be out to buy stuff since she still has a lot of supplies at home.
After thinking of a lot of things, Lisa decided to twist the doorknob, which was surprisingly unlocked.
It's weird, yes, that why didn't Lisa open the door in the first place. Well, Lisa's been used to in not entering houses without knocking since she was young. Yep, she's such a good girl.
Lisa looked around in the living room to see nothing but a neat area. One thing that she loves about Jennie is that she's a very neat person.
She then went upstairs and went to her bedroom, only to have her heart broken with the sight.
"J-Jennie.."
Tears started falling from her eyes as she held onto the side of the door for support. She shut her eyes for a while and slapped herself to know if she's dreaming or not. When she opened her eyes, she knew that she's really not dreaming.
She's not dreaming that Jennie hung herself.
She saw a note on the table. With her shaky hand, she slowly reached for it and unfolded it to read its content.
'I love you so much Lisa. But I'm sorry, I couldn't take it anymore.'
She wished she asked her if she was okay.
She wished she comforted her.
She wished she didn't leave her last night and stayed with her instead.
She wished she became a good girlfriend.
