"So I'm dropping Nash and Hayes off?" Taylor says confused
"Yeah then taking Jack and I home" Jack J explains "If that's okay with Sky"
"Of course that's okay" I beam "You're welcome too Nash"
"Bye Sky" Nash says before the phone is hung up.
"Bye Nash" I whisper before handing Avery her phone back.
I look up to Avery, she is sat beaming at me. She seems like she genuinely wants to be my friend- but then again, so did Capricorn. I think I'll wait a while before introducing this one.
"Do you want to hang out at the weekend or something?" She asks. Her eyes flit around the room self conciously. She seems tlike the kind of girl who doesn't want to be noticed- a lot different from when I first met her.
"I'd love to"
"Great" She says sliding a piece of paper with a number on it "I'm not usually this forward. I'm the shy one in school. I can't even talk to Jake"
"You can do so much better than him" I laugh
"Yeah? Like who?" She says
"I don't know right now. But I will" The last girl I set up with one of the boys was only using him for popularity.
"Can't wait" She squeals "We have to get to our next class" She looks at her watch "I have AP Math"
"So do I"
"Room 187?"
"Yeah, I think so"
"I'll take you there" She says standing up. I gather my books and follow her to our next class.

"Psstt.. Sky" I hear Avery whisper next to me half way through math.
"What's up?" I ask back
"I've been thinking" She starts but then pauses. "You know Jake?"
"Yeah I do"
"Can you help me talk to him?" She says embarrassed "I mean it's just because you can talk to him so easily and everytime I go to open my mouth I choke"
"Sure"
"I just can't get the words out of my mouth- wait, did you say sure?"
"Sure!" I laugh "When?"
"After school?" She says unsure "If you're busy then or something we can do it another time"
"No after school's fine"
"Thanks"

After biology and then home room Avery takes my hand and drags me towards the boys locker room.
"What are we doing here?" I ask
"Jake has football. He'll be in there" She says nodding towards the door. "We can wait until he comes out"
"Or we could just go in" I smirk pushing the door open. I make my way through the sea of half naked boys shouting at me to get out. It doesn't faze me that they're shirtless and pantless- I'm living with 10 boys, I'm used to it. At least I was this morning. I make my way through until I find Jake.
"Hi" I say sweetly as Avery runs after me, joining my side.
"Skylar?" He looks up from tying his boot "What are you doing here?"
"I came to talk to you" I say
"About what?" He asks standing up straight. He's wearing no shirt and I can hear Avery's breathing quicken "Oh have you come to accept my deal?"
"No"
"Then what? You wanted to come check me out shirtless?" He says standing back. I look at his chest and abs.
"I've seen better" I say. It's true.
"Sure you have"
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Well from what I hear you're a virgin" How would he even know that?
"Doesn't mean I haven't seen a guy shirtless"
"Whatever" He says grabbing his shirt "I like inexperienced girls anyway"
"As if I'd do that with you" I spit "You're not even good looking"
"I'm the hottest guy in school" He pulls his shirt over his head "Aren't I Avery?" He says turning to her.
"Sure" She says a bit too excitedly.
"Anyway, I came to talk to you about the history homework" I lie.
"I haven't done it. You're welcome to come to mine to do it"
"I haven't done it either" Avery adds
"Why don't both of you come then" He says "I'm sure we could find someway to make it fun" He winks.
"N-" I start
"Okay!" Avery says cutting me off. "When?"
"Later tonight? I've got a free house"
"Okay, we'll see you at 7" Avery says, finally finding the confidence to talk to Jake.
"You in?" He says turning to me
"Yeah sure whatever" I say uninterested.
"I've gotta go, it was nice talking to you" He says picking up his helmet. "Maybe I'll come pay you a visit in the girl's locker room sometime"
"Please don't" I say, grabbing Avery and pulling her out of the changing room.
"I can't believe I'm going on a study date with Jake" She squeals "And you of course!"
"It will be just you two"
"What? You can't leave me with just him"
"Sorry Avery but I've got my own boys to see" I say smiling at the thought of my best friends "I'm making it up to them"
"What did you do?"
"It's a long story"
"Okay" She says as we walk out of school. I make my way over to Taylor's car and unlock it. "Do you wanna hang this weekend?"
"I can't tomorrow but I can Sunday"
"Sure! Text me" She says getting into her car. I get into Taylor's too and drive myself home.

I open my front door to find Jack Johnson stood behind it. As soon as he sees me his eyes light up and his arms engulf me.
"I'm so sorry" He says
"No I'm sorry, I was a bitch. I should have been flattered that you and Nash wanted me"
"Yeah you should have" He laughs
"You're so not funny Jack"
"You love me though"
"Yeah, I do" I admit, laughing.
"Come on" He says taking my hand, leading me to the lounge.
When we get there I immediately see the remaining boys stood in front of me holding paper letters. Taylor holds an 'S', Matt with an 'O', Jack G with an 'R', and Jack J runs to join them holding up another 'R' and a Y'.
"Guys you don't have to be sorry. I'm sorry" I say rushing over to them, taking the letters from them. "I'm going to make it up to you. I swear."
